A new car every 3-4 months if my old man is willing to lend me the money, miss out on lots of cars I want to review considering I started of wanting to be a review channel😅 Yeah basically whatever looks good to me when I have some cash I will order and hopefully get a video done before too many others are already up. Absolutely loving it mate🥹 Yes definitely worth every cent in my opinion, it's literally just a cheaper than average 1/8 truggy option👌 I like to imagine Arrma classed it a 1/10 to keep the price low🤔 Speedrun was a bit dodgy, need new 4s lipos, but I gave dad the 4s Mojave to try out so it'll be a speedrun and a bit of Kraton vs Mojave bashing. Thanks Michael🤘

Really like the chassis design, keeping all the dirt and mud out of the electronics. Shame about the steering getting jammed. Overall, great review and bash as always. 👍🏼🚗

Thanks man👊 Yeah the big mud/debris guards definitely help prevent crap ending up in the chassis. As long as the steering doesn't lock up too much I'm fine with it, only that 1 time so far🤞

congrats mate, for the front , what I did was spin the protector around to the other side , this protects the drive shaft from the shock spring digging into the shaft

The green looks spectacular! Unfortunately the 4s line has terrible steering, looks like they did not really fix that. Nice unboxing and first bash 👍

They have great steerjng ,they have a poor servo saver.

@GamezOfWar yes a saver that can not be modified only changed, therefore the car has bad steering out of the box. The servos aren't great either though, mine after only 2 runs has LOTS of play at the main horn gear making for sloppy steering. Needs a high KG servo without a saver and it will have good steering👌

I thought that also😅 but our skateparks around here aren't really big enough for these bigger cars, might take it to the Newport skatepark as it has a cool bowl section but most of it is still just big jumps onto the grass. See what happens, try and get down there asap👍 Thanks mate😁

Oh yeah that would be good. Sadly that's just a little too far for me these days, can't handle going to the You yanks for a downhill ride anymore either, just to far for my PTSD most days.

They are definitely smooth flying rigs from the 3s all the way upto the 8s🤘

Good video as, always. Looks like a pretty good truck. Yeah, that does stink about the steering getting bound up. I think cringed as much as you did based on the sound on that first crash when it hit that front wheel.

Yeah the first crash wasn't so nice, the second was basically a casual roll through the park😅 It is a very well built and capable truck, I'm very glad I was able to get one for the channel! Hopefully the steering is a cheap easy fix🤞 Thanks heaps Tim👍

Arrma deff need to come up with a total redesign of the steering system on the 3s & 4s line of trucks, steering getting jammed has been going on now far to long.

Yes I have to agree, it's the only downfall really. It definitely seems like the servo saver is too loose or something though so that could be causing lockup issues aswell. Need to look into that.

Mine was missing the center drive shaft bearing. Only notice it was missing when i started checking everything over before the first run. I had it sitting on the bench looking at me for a week till i went out and brought a bearing since the hobby shop didn't just send me a bearing instead they were waiting on the supplier to respond.😠

Oh that not good having bearings missing🫤 In regards to the store not sending the missing parts without contacting Horizon, that is very common as the store even though not much $$$$ for a single bearing the store still looses out if Horizon don't agree to send the parts or don't pay for the missing parts as they should.

Hey, is the chassis of the Kraton 4s the same on Senton 3S?

I don't think so, I believe the Kraton chassis itself is longer than the Senton but the Kraton is also longer where the gearbox slots are and the gearbox itself is longer to compensate for the centre diff size compared to the slipper.

I will say while the steering is not perfect if you ran in a different area u will mostly Likely not lock up the steering like that but that your bash spot it is what it is..

Yes obviously if I was not driving on bark/wood chips it wouldn't get blocked up but this is the spot I have and it's safer for the cars landing on the nice soft bark😅

It could be made to fit, it's only just bigger than the 4s body but the post holes are in different spots so you'd need to drill new post holes. The 4s shell is SO MUCH STRONGER though, double the thickness of the 6s body💪

Possibly, the older arms don't have the mounting holes but you could easily drill some. Honestly you can make your own out of any type of flexible plastic, I use basic 1mm sheet plastic from the hardware store for all sorts of mud/bash guards. Then you can drill the mounting positions wherever you need😁

The 3 in 1 reciever box, is a joke, has been since released imo, was on ALL 3S units. Replacing servo is a utter pain in the ***. The plastic drive shaft is, OK, but really. And lastly even the new 662 servo is weak, for this wide design, and weight. CVDs are honestly pretty impressive. In conclussion: Add new Servo (Savox) $92 Integy Bellcrank $34 25T Aluminum Servo Horn $18

Ahh not sure what you mean by 3 in 1 box, it's a module mate, you remove it all from the car to make it easy to work on, therefore the servo is actually simply to swap. The steering issue is not the servo it's definitely the saver, im sure it's a simple fix/mod job Plastic incorporated CVDs are definitely getting stong and yes I have to agree with you, these rigs are pretty much stronger than the 8s rigs simply because they are more compact👌

I don't know if you mean because you would be able to afford it or you think it's over priced. But in regards to price I personally think it's spot on for what you get. It's a super capable, super tough and fast 1/10 car but in actual fact it's 100% 1/8. Therefore making it a VERY well priced car considering the time we live in🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

Worthless driveshafts, bellcranks are garbage the servo was a glitchy hot mess, the motor sounded like a rock tumbler mixed with a hint of kazoo...went through a couple sessions then threw the whole truck in the trash.
