I have the same Maxx v2 set up with the viviton bottom shock extender and the aluminum chasie brace helps alot! And also running 22 50 gearing with the 6s Dboots and its a stunt machine!!

hard to beat the arrma. I would get the new v2 one with the center diff.
That's a 1515 2200kv castle motor? Wondering what gearing you're running seeing as its less KV than stock. THANKS for the vids.

Stock gearing. It needs more gearing though or bigger motor. I couldn't get it around for the backflip.

I just threw a 12 year old castle 2200kv motor and esc in my new maxx v2 yesterday. I dropped it from 23/50 to 20/50 and put a 4000mah 6s lipo in it. I still need to gear it down more to either 20/54 or 18/54. The plastic axleshafts lasted about 2 minutes. My spares lasted only a few minutes. The metal shafts are on order. It was ridiculously fast. I haven't had this much fun with an RC since my old savage flux. It does standing backflips, even with the stock center diff fluid.

Is the maxx narrower with the dboots?

Bro I dont know, if you check your old comments... get yourself a max8 G2 2250Kv, run it 6s with 23/50 gearing and rip it! so much better on 6s!

Funny you say that. I had that setup for a bit. Just took it out, though, for an other rig because had a gear problem. Currently rebuilding all my different. G2 is def my favorite system
You purposely nose, dived it because you like armma more
