+Naked Banana You speak as if you can get out of your mess yourself. You can refocus and reroute all your attention elsewhere, but your mess won't be solved, it just gets hidden until the perfect cirucmstances come by for it to resurface. That mess is something God can take away and resolve. And he does it for me every time I deliver it to him.

***** Yes, I agree! Solve your own mess. God doesn't do it for you. He also doesn't do pull ups. If you want something in life, you have to do it yourself. If you are smart you prioritise. Put improving yourself on number one of your list and you'll do fine. Because 1 you won't bother others for things you can and want to do yourself 2 you'll learn to know your limits, which makes you see the limits of others too. Basically you'll become less of a dick. Put sleeping on number two. No need to rush. Put failing on number 3, no progress without failing: it's true for muscle, it's true for relationships, it's true for all learning. When you enjoy failing, you'll soon become invincible. And if you have to follow one rule. Don't put yourself on another one's list. Unless you pay them.

Try to add enough weight where it is hard to get 10 reps and specifically the last 3 are difficult. To specifically emphasize biceps and not as much back, stick with chin ups. The #3 technique is called "hefesto hold" in Calisthenics world. If you're a newbie/intermediate, you'd want to do an "assisted" hefesto (using a resistance band with code colors green / blue / black to support your body weight). DON'T DO IT FIRST WITHOUT RESISTANCE BAND, you'd only hurt yourself (by falling down to the ground). The workout itself will definitely isolate your biceps, make it work harder than ever, and make it explode. It's a super technique. Try it 1 month consistently once a week and boom, your biceps start popping out than ever.

Normal pull-ups help that much. You have to condition yourself and gradually go into them. For Instance, take away fingers on one side, or grab a rope and help yourself up with the other arm. (He has a video on it as well)

+Jim Giant I can't actually do a one arm pullup, but I would guess somewhere between 30-35 pullups will guarantee ability of a 1 arm pullup. I have noticed when I work out, that if I can do a certain weight for 30-35 reps, I can do twice the weight for 1 rep. I hypothesize that it holds true for everyone else as well.
