This is a common problem I have, I can see me getting stronger. Lifting heavier weights all that but I don’t look any different

You probably do, you see yourself everyday and constantly see yourself grow so it looks like no change, and also you have to be consistent. Very noticeable change won't happen for 6-7 months, do what I did, start measuring your muscles and taking notes on it so you can see the progress on paper. Also can't forget to eat enough protein and calories if you haven't already!!! Good luck man just keep it up don't get discouraged!!!

Lifting weights and getting stronger doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be a lot bigger, you have to focus on time under tension and push to failure on most sets for muscle hypertrophy to occur

one of the functions of your bicep is to move your arm forward in front of you, so a little bit of elbow motion is okay at the top of the rep

The gist of all the advice is: To grow muscle: 1. Isolate harder, fix more points of leverage till you’re hitting just the muscle you want to grow 2. Work the muscle through the full range of motion

Another few tips I would give is to stick the chest out so the eccentric portion of the lift is ending behind the body just a bit, milk the eccentric as much as possible and pause at full lock out for a quick second and explode up. It's okay to bring your arms up a little bit since the outside of the bicep is connected to the front delt but not too much and once you explode on the concentric to squeeze for another quick sec

Another tip: don't do alternative curls. Do both arms curling together. I know, you can't lift as much weight that way. But that'll build muscle. When you do pushups do you rest between each pushup? No, so don't rest one arm while the other is working.

I had the opposite. My biceps wouldnt grow after reaching 15.5" for several months. Tried strict form everything. Then i learned that loading the piss out of em (even with bad form) stimulated the growth again. Eventually i was able to correct form with the same weight and i kept growing. Deff wouldnt suggest it. But if youve tried everything and its not working, actively try tearing your bicep. Shits gonna work (dont tear your bicep tho) (gonna get hate for this one 😅)

When you are strugling with a weight, body troes to compensate in every way that it can by involving other muscles and using mechanical advantages. You'd be surprised at what people do without even noticing. You gotta mindfully keep your form under control, and sometimes you still should have someone double check you.

Guys if the weight that you are curling started to feel lighter don’t try to make an exercise harder by trying to dance around with the same weight. Just take a heavier dumbbell. That is gonna be a REAL progression of intensity = the trigger for your muscle to grow bigger

You sure are moving your body a lot. Whenever I do it I stay stiff as a board. Is that wrong to do? I try to focus on my form and making sure I’m not injuring any other parts of my body and I want to make sure I’m isolating the muscle. Currently I’m doing 30s. Been on 30s for like 6 months now though lol. However. I now start my workouts with three sets of chin ups or pull-ups to failure. I’ve been doing that for the past couple months so that probably why my curls are not increasing. Since I added that out. I imagine I will start advancing here in another month or two. But honestly now that I’m starting out with chin ups, and I’m going to be getting stronger at those, I actually don’t mind if my curls don’t go up so much. I think? Curls are great because I feel like they work out so much at once it’s like cheating. I currently don’t even have a shoulder and back day, but she make my shoulders and back strong.once I get to like nine reps, I’m going to start adding weight I think
