Lol I feel this. There's this one guy that always seems to hoard the only preacher bench in the gym. The ridiculous thing is that he actually turns the whole bench around and uses the arm part as a back rest and sits on the seat... I'm pretty new to the gym all things considered. No idea why he doesn't use one of the 6 adjustable benches right in front of him to do the same exact thing.

@@wainach9518 technically it’s 10 sets. Anyway, for just biceps? Hell yeah. I am not perfect with creating workout plans, but I know that 10-12 sets a week is plenty of volume for muscle hypertrophy. So to do 10 set of a smaller muscle in one workout is a waste of time. You could easily split this into 2 exercises that you hit in the same week and will most likely see better results than doing this just once a week. If you plan on doing this whole exercise twice a week you will greatly exceed the threshold of 10-12 sets a week and a lot of those would not actually be any benefit to you. Just trying to help, because I know that gym time is sacred and any way to minimize wasted time will help everyone in the long run

I'm 56 years old and disabled. On December 24, 2021, I accidentally fell and lost my balance. Went to the hospital to recover and went to rehabilitation to gain my strength 💪. By mid February, I went back home and had a physical therapist came to my routine exercises. After this, I started to perform 100 bed situps and 100 wheelchair push-ups for 6 months. After this process, I lower both the bed situps and wheelchair push-ups by 50. I'm getting stronger daily and perform dumbbell workouts.

That's an overkill, as there are too many isolation exercises and the rep count is too high. Unless you have sufficient rest between the sets and exercises, maximising your weight for the first exercise will make your biceps too fatigued to do the same for the next one. I would reduce the rep count to 8-12 and increase the rest time, depending on how you feel.

@@AE-mh7cs? This is a pretty simple concept, each arm is having a different amount of rest, if you do a bench press and then straight away switch from barbell to dumbells but do one set with your right arm, and then with your left, your left arm is resting the whole time your right arm is working, and your right arm got no rest between sets. Why would I be joking about that? It's bad advice to tell someone to go from using both arms to using one mid way through a workout.
