In my opinion DBZ is not that great, I liked it as a kid, but I would never rewatch it today. And I have rewatched a lot of anime. I have tried to rewatch DBZ and find it incredibly boring. I stopped watching Bleach because it had DBZ-syndrome. DBZ is bad enough to have an anime disease named after it.

When an anime has been going strong for 30 years, its status as "the best" ain't up for debate.

Fairy tail, dragon ball z and Pokemon these three is the best anime ever, in my opinion these anime take the top three spot,,,,,,,,,,,, and "FAIRY TAIL" is the best show ever the emotions between the guild members, Nastu, Gray, Lucy, Erza their friendship the bonding the heart touching music that makes the fairy tail the best of them all

But it has a big minus, no much training more a sudden power up, saying emotion of friendship powers him to beat all shit when he is beated to a shit😫, I am also a fairy tail fan but ONCE YOU SEE ONE PIECE U WONT COME BACK IN ONE PIECE😁.it is such a beautifully planned series which has only one prob. It extends the ep too much and has cartoonish artstyle most of the time except battle scenes, but the manga is op.there has been many censorship when it got animated.for ex whiteboard battled with a part of his forehead gone, but that part was censored😁

this list is rather flawed in many ways anyway, I mean seriously, why on earth would Fairy tail be in "Top 10 anime" when there are so many other shows that deserve to be in this list like Baccano or Fate Zero (my opinion anyway)

They omit a lot of truly great series. Paranoia Agent by the ever brilliant Satoshi Kon..or what about Wolf's Rain, Samurai Champloo, Monster by Naoki Urasawa. Also Dragon Ball as a series is VASTLY superior to Dragon Ball Z in many ways. This list is basically "What are the most cliched choices we could possibly pick...oh YEAH One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z"

I feel like they just went by "sales per volume" or something like that, I mean seriously, there is no reason that naruto should be in this unless they went by sales per volume. They missed way too many amazing series and glued their balls to Shonen anime probably because they thought the popularity would mean less people would be pissed about the list

huevorock23 I kind of agree, it's lacking so far in good plot and characters (although in the manga later it starts to get pretty good), it doesn't compare to something like Soul Eater plotwise or characterwise. And SOUL EATER didn't even make the list, so...(that was a serious mistake though)

This list is weird TBH. I've never seen Sailor Moon over Death Note, or Nichijou over Steins;Gate in any other list before. And then you have Soul Eater over FMA and AoT at the top. Really highly disagree with the list. Monster >>> Death Note, I would place Steins;Gate higher, AoT, Naruto, and Sailor Moon I would never put even on a top 20, and I couldn't get into Nichijou (The whole first episode wasn't even funny, just weird.) Sadly, I have yet to see Bebop, FMA, or Baccano. My list: 1) Legend of the Galactic Heroes 2) Welcome to the N.H.K. 3) Steins;Gate 4) Monster 5) Paranoia Agent 6) Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor 7) Parasyte: The Maxim 8) One Outs 9) Code Geass 10) Death Note Honorable Mentions: La Maison en Petits Cubes (Masterpiece, problem is that it's really hard to put it on a spot on the list because of how unique it is) Berserk (Really good, problem is that it has the worst Read the Manga ending I've ever seen) Serial Experiments Lain (It does have flaws, some might say it's almost "pretentious", but I still enjoyed how it put my brain to work and made me think.)

+Bartman Simpson I don't know how to interpret what you mean by "weird". I guess something unusual but that's not always a bad thing. I could say your list is "weird" too. As for your list, Monster>>>>>>>>>>> Steins; Gate. I still love Steins; Gate to death, but it's characters and story are nowhere near as engaging and gripping as Monster is. Code Geass I liked, but wouldn't put it on Best Ever. To be best ever, it has to be near flawless, and Code Geass has to many flaws to be best ever. The story takes way too long to really get going, the actions scenes are aren't anything spectacular ( giant mechs fighting, never seen THAT before). You didn't put La Mansion en Petits Cubes on the list because of how unique it is, but I actually look for more unique animes and something I haven't seen before. That's a huge reason why I love Attack on Titan so much. They invented a whole new type of monster, and an entire world built around how drastically life would change if it existed. Same thing with Death Note. The Idea of a supernatural notebook is ingenious enough, but they take a step further by pitting two geniuses against each other, both making brilliant moves that I never would of thought of. I haven't seen Legend of the Galactic Heroes or WeIcome to the N.H.K. and have no desire to watch them. I haven't seen Parasyte: The Maxim, but it looks really good so maybe I'd like that more. As for Nichijou, Humor is a very personal thing, so I guess I can't really argue with you if you didn't laugh. Sailor Moon I have I have so high because of the extremely memorable characters, and also it's the anime that got me into anime, so it get bonus points for that. Sailor Moon is nowhere near as complex as stories as Steins; Gate and Monster but simplicity can be just as good as long as it sticks out. And Naruto is on because all the characters are memorable and the use of the Nine-Tail Fox demon powers are used very well. It's not used to often or too little, which makes it really epic when it does happen. I also love all the ninja powers that they use and how creative they are with it. Sorry that my list if different or "weird". So, what do you think? And if you have any reccomendations to what I should watch, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

opinions vary from person to person...alot of people will disagree with u...and hunter x hunter (2011) has failed really hard and wont last much longer its gonna be cancelled soon..these animes are consistent and actually did not die they all had endings, and this is coming from a guy who is a big fan of hunter x hunter
