Inuyasha ran for 4 years originally, then came back for one year. Thats only 5 years it ran for, bleach ran for 4 more years. Inuyashas manga ran for 12 years, but this is anime you said, not the mangas. Watch mojo's editing team and writing staff must have like... Downsized considerably five or six months ago, because recently their videos have been shitty, mis numbering a/labelings on the actual thing they are talking about (number six having a number four and a different name on the screen) and then they have been focusing a LOT on personal opinion lately, and that 'one thing per franchise' rule is only used when Convenient. And it's slowly pissing me off. I thought this video would be better, but seriously? DB not in the top three? One piece behind Naruto? (Don't want to get into arguments but OP is number four in the world for anime stat wise, and Nauto is number 5/6 currently, those numbers fluctuate always, but only twice has Naruto gone ahead of One Puece on the poles and OP has been in top 5 since 2002)

Tyler Lindsey-Delise agree with most of that but Naruto has been in the top for a long time as well as one piece. One piece was at the top in Japan and U.S while Naruto was at the top of south america and Europe. But yea one piece should of been higher then Naruto.

Gian gerd When it comes to worldwide appeal, Naruto is far more popular outside of Japan and Oda himself admitted this in a interview a few months back. Manga and anime is such a centralizing pillar over in Japan that winning there overshadows everywhere else put together.

god honestly one piece and detective conan cannot be judged upon. they are one of the most creative and fresh animes that brought the genre anime to life. Other animes such as shin chan doraemon and pokemon were all our childhood life.

TheCookieCrew Cv we are the ones to choose the anime. They just put them how they want and not care how "WE" would rate the anime. I think One Piece should have been #1. It's still going strong and I love the animation of the series even though a lot of people are saying it's quality has dropped. But Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden should have been up in the top 5.

Finally someone has acknowledged Detective Conan as a good anime! DC is my favourite anime and probably one of the best yet. Plus it has I believe 19 or 20 movies already! I see all these comments complaining about One Piece not being at a higher rank, but only a few talking about DC. DC ftw!!

Dank Memes Okay, just to say it. Bleach anime (was at first) better than comic, but comic follows story better. Naruto's younger stories have better voice acting and animation. Doraemon got better over the years. Dragon Ball is my choice over DBZ since it doesn't deal with over loads of power and DPGT is horrible (except the ending) and so I have expectations for the new Super season. One Piece is just too long. Detective Conan is crazy long. Pokemon use to be good, but all this friendship and each episode having to say "you and your Pokemon" have gotten on my last nerve. (Ashe is also 12 years old in Battle Frontier so Japan is going crazy.) And now, other anime's I'd like to recommend: Fairy Tail is amazing; but only until episode 175. They did nothing for 2 years and now all I see is bad animation, too much Lucy nudity, and... well, just a loss of other animations they use to have. Check out Nyan Koi if you want to have a smile today. This show is crazy, but in a good way. Its about a guy who gets cursed by a cat spirit when he accidentally knocks the head off a cat statue. Now, he must do 100 cat deeds to stop the curse, which if he does not do he will turn into a cat and he's allergic. Right now, there's only 12 episodes but a season 2 is in the works.

I feel really sad that there's not enough love for Detective Conan in the comments. Detective Conan is a masterpiece, and I promise you that almost every single character has a major character development, Detective Conan has a ton of characters, but is remember almost every single one of them because the anime does a really good job on not throwing all the characters at you at once but one at a time. The plot is also incredible and is a unique and original. It seriously does take a whole lot of thinking to solve all those mysteries and so far I've only solved a few XD (but I've been getting better!) The animation has improved tremendously and the music is also great. Some of the soundtracks are still here even after years and years. So I definitely recommend people to watch it

Well it's a top 10 of the longest anime, and they put it in order. I think people misunderstood the whole purpose of this video, they didn't put Conan in 2nd because it's good (it is very good, but it's not why it's in 2nd) but because it's the 2nd longest anime.

The flash Well, it was off for about ten years, then They release a "re-mastered" version called Dragon Ball Z Kai, but apparently the creator decided that he wanted to make more instalments, so after almost twenty years he's writing more chapters and some new movies. It's not so bad, at least it ended at one point. Its not like it's been on for all this time.

Detective Conan needs soooo much more attention. It's a masterpiece and if you haven't watched a few of the episodes you really should watch it! It has so much character development and you can really feel for all the Conan characters.

I some how just recently got into conan and i hecken LOVE it. I used to watch conan when i was like 8 or 9 on tv, but then I started forgetting about it. All i remember was that I just got some snacks and prepared myself to get either scared or groased out back then.

Obines98 Compared to other long running shounens it does. Im not saying its the best. I like the art in animes like SoulEater, Mob Psycho 100, Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, and all of studio ufotable's animes and films. and the one piece movies look amazing too, 50000 times better then the anime, but its not as good as movies like Redline and all movies directed by Makoto Shinkai. Naruto's art is actually good compared to Bleach, DragonBall and Fairy Tail. But it doesnt look as good as one piece.

My opinion is that One Piece should be first...

What is the music name playing on background?

Doraemon airs on TV Asahi, not Nippon Television Network. But the 1973 series was aired on Nippon Television while 1979 and 2005 series for TV Asahi.

One Piece should get a better rating. It's way bigger than Naruto and there will be another 10 years (500+ episodes) of the anime! :c

Sazae-san is the longest running series, but they have been recycling/re-hashing the same stories with some slight changes in appearance such as clothing and car styles throughout the years. The anime uses the same storyline based on the manga series from 1948 to the late 1970's and recycles the stories, so it's not like all the episodes are news and ongoing like the others on this list.
