These episodes were great. Oh man i got so many chills. It was great to see all the book material. Selene played that part perfectly and i loved the transition of Rand. I have critiques but it more or less personal likes and dislikes with acting skills. But overall it was very much improved from season 1. Thank you for your review. You soft soothing voice always makes these videos a joy to watch and listen.

A cool Easter egg. When Verin is telling Moraine that she is going with her when moraine leaves you can see some of her belongings packed on the table. Among them is Verins signature leather bound book which she always carries with her which if you know you know.

I loved it, but i am embarrassed to admit E3 had me emotional for a huge part of the episode. I dont know if it was the episode or being such a huge book fan and finally seeing it on tv or a mix of both. Zoe is incredible and for me is the best thing about the show, she IS Nynaeve for me now.

Loved the episodes

Love, love, love the episodes so far. And I am already emotionally destroyed. The acting and writing are just top notch.

I noticed something in S2 E1, the scene where Moiraine speaks to Bayle Domon. In the second one that starts around

Something cool you made me think of - “Blood Calls Blood” could also be tying Perrin & Lanfear together for their eventual story climax

So far the episodes have been such a marvellous blend between Book 2 and Book 3. The changes they made fit in perfectly in story.

Min's viewings always come true (even if it's complicated, like with the rare ones that bifurcate, like "either you do X or Y will happen," but for those sure always knows what they mean). However, at least in the books, what makes a viewing "come true" isn't that what she saw literally happens; most of her book visions aren't actually of something happening, but rather a visual symbol that she may or may not be sure means something happens.

Did you notice that Liandrin lied?

One gap I have yet to hear any thoughts on is how/why Logain is in Cairhien, very conveniently for Rand, when at the end of S1 he was in Tar Valon to be studied. Appreciate 5 months have gone by, but in the books he was still in Tar Valon and leaves with Siuan/Leanne/Min after Elaida takes the seat (which hasn't happened yet) - so further plot changes compared to the books to be expected (given Min is also now leaving with Mat). I am hoping at some point there will be a flashback to explain how Loial survived the attack/stabbing in Fal Dara given Padan Fain seems to be very effective at murdering all others. Great work with Liandrin in these episodes, also with Nynaeve's accepted test. I knew Selene could run hot and cold with her temper but wasn't quite expecting the physical relationship between her and Rand to be quite so vigourous.
