Quick question: How do the Aes Sedai know that "the way back only comes once"?

Brown study ter'angreal, they may have notes on the arches that got passed down. They've been using them for centuries after all

From watching the show (I have not read the books), I suspect since they have all gone through this process, they know the return door open once and they step through so no one has experienced a second door. And probably none of the 'lost' students recognise the second door that's why no one else return. Or may be it's because Egwene try to open the gateway that allows a second return door to be opened (probably no one has ever tried to bring someone back before or they are just not as powerful as Egrene)

@@Whats-DanT-Up-To possible. I was just wondering how Aes Sedai often tend to claim stuff as true from a position of ignorance. Fascinating for people who literally cannot lie to still not tell the truth.

So they changed it and Moraine is not lost in the T'angeal (sp) but Naeve is? GOOD! Moraine is my favorite character so much so that I stopped really reading the books and only skimmed them until the last book when she did come back. NONE of the other characters piqued my interest at all. I will continue watching the video to see Moraine but I doubt i will try to read the entire series again.
