ALL they had to do was let Rhaena claim Sheepstealer, and I could've been satisfied with the finale. There was no point to leaving it to next season, it's so obvious where it's going and it was built up all season. Thanks for the video!

Like when she said he would have to beat her at something, I was thinking something associated with ships, or a knife game, or even hand to hand combat. But in mud? Like, is that really a thing. I felt like the writers were trolling us.

Agreed re: Faile. People hate her over the top and fail to see her strengths. Aside from the Deven Ride moment you mention and her being the power behind the power that is Ferrin, she does so much more in the story that is unappreciated by the collective fandom. Yes, she has character flaws (many of them accentuated by unusual Saldaean customs), but she is young (only 18!), and Perrin “smells” her emotions, which contaminates the reader’s perspective. Also, think about her accomplishments with Cha Faile, the Malden plotline, the conclusion of the Masema plotline, and for Light’s sake the bloody Horn of Valere!

It seems Valyria was a wonderful place if you belonged to the few families who could own dragons (and who ran the freehold). Almost everyone else was lower class, a slave, or a member of the underclass. The dragon lords did not treat these people well and viewed themselves as a superior peoples who were justified in mistreating others. You mentioned about making a series about the Doom of Valyria. I think it'd be possible if it were animated. One KZreadr, Patrick McCarthy and a team of his friends made a sample of how the first episode of such a series might look. You can definitely get the sense here of how the Valyrian dragon lords treated underlings. Silverwing is definitely my favorite dragon so far. I love that kind of playful nature, especially from such a powerful being. I imagine those dragons probably are really bored and want to stretch their wings. Vermithor has a battle mentality, so fire first, then choose.

The pin is an invention of the show (Game of Thrones). The chain is the actual symbol of the office, very much like Tyrion had it in show and book, the one he used to strangle Shae with. And this makes sense, cause high offices at courts or city parliaments had also chains in medieval Europe 😉

Why didn’t Rhaenyra send a son? I guess it’s pretty obvious, isn‘t it? She doesn’t trust Daemon anymore and fears for her sons since Luke… so if Daemon who has the bigger dragon and apparently more soldiers on the ground takes Jace hostage, well she has to play according to Daemon‘s conditions! This is obviously hypothetical but reasonable from her point of view

Thanks for the video! In the books, Daeron leaves KL when he's 12 and stays in Oldtown until he marches out with Lord Ormund's army. So, it's not weird that we haven't seen him yet in S2 (I expect him in S3) but yes, it IS very strange that we didn't see nor hear of him in S1. I suspect they thought that they could write him out, but later realized they needed him for an event they want to keep. BTW forcing myself thru TWoT books (on Knife of Dreams) but ugh Rand's romances are so ick.

It‘s rather likely a reason of having a certain size of a cast that doesn’t overburden casual viewers & saving budget. The Tully‘s for example are introduced in the very first book A Game of Thrones and play a role throughout the first 3 books, but they don‘t appear as casted characters until season 3 when they are needed to tell the story of the Red Wedding! Additionally, I guess the several time jumps in season 1 and the change of the cast for the majority of characters was confusing enough for casual viewers, not to mention the introduction of the several children of each family! I was already surprised they kept Joffrey Velaryon and Rhaena who would have easily written together with other characters in Game of Thrones

This is not only slander but literally wrong also FYI they are around the same age in the books do not bring age into it. He is at most 2years older then her in the books. In the show she is NOT 16 they are all aged up so do not even try to bring it up. The reason why what you say us slander is because he would not actually do it and she knows it. She is using him she is manipulating him all the time. There are even some parts you could say she is abusing him.

I loved the Harrenhal scenes so much but agreed on the incest scenes! I love the theory with Daemon being Coldhands it’s sort of like my favorite theory in ASOIAF with the whole Bolt-On theory. Sure it’s probably not real but i love it so it’s real in my heart
