Thank you Aivars I think you nailed this one 100%. felt good to remember that most of us go through the same motions. Thanks and blessings
Thank you, Aivars! I came across this video on my Pordomo break and am happy I did since this is something I needed to hear today because I've been in a big slump and have been procrastinating. I've added this video now to a playlist, so I can reference it again. Cheers! 😃

I didn't know you can close an app while cmd+tabbing! Procrastination cure and handy productivity hint in one video. Thank you! Now closing KZread to get some job done :)
Excellent video. Procrastinatinating is a bad habit for a successful life. I enjoyed your video. 😀
Fantastic advice! It's incredible how much work you can get done by simply preparing the day before and putting your phone in a separate room out of sight!

Absolutely. And I believe you can get so much more done this way in say a 3-4 hour block than a distracted person can over an 8 hour day.
Best video I have watched today, and kind of needed to, thank you!

Thank you for the feedback. That means a lot! 🙌
Great video Aivars, specifically the point about sitting in front of the computer and doing nothing instead of switching to something else, this is some elite higher-level stuff lol, thanks

Paldies! It is surprisingly hard to do nothing :)
Wow, this video hit home for me! The part where you said, 'I already know what to do right now, the only problem is that I can't bring myself to do it,' resonated so deeply with me. It's like you read my mind! Also, the tip about 'sleeping in your running clothes' is just invaluable. It's such a simple yet effective way to minimize resistance and make it easier to get started on a task. I've already started implementing the idea of 'closing tabs in the evening' and it has been such a game-changer for me in terms of productivity and mental clarity. Thank you for sharing these insights. Keep up the great work! 👏👏👏

Yep, that's how procrastination works. You know that you need to work on important task, but you waste time on "important" research and overthinking. I'm professional procrastinator and know that very well :D

You work from some of the most gorgeous locations! Thanks for the content. Would love to see a video down the line on how you manage your screen space when coding from a laptop alone. I still find it difficult to keep track of my windows when I don't have a larger display on hand.

That's how I finally got into the habit of going to the gym regularly - tricking myself to go and do just a little bit. Then one it's become routine and you also start seeing the results, it's much easier.

I love running... One of my favourite things. :) Love the running shorts. Haha. 5km run is not hard either. But it's important to start slow, do 1km first, maybe do a fast walk. Don't try a 5km run your first time... because then you will be exhausted. It's very important to give people the insight that these things are a miracle that take time.

I love feeling when I'm coming back from the run. Middle of the run is ok as well, beginning sucks. You should come to Latvia in winter and test if you really like running ;)

@@AivarsMeijers haha. I did go for a run in St Petersburg in some of winter. But at some points it was just too slippery and cold, and I ended up pulling my calf muscles too much, so took breaks more during winter. Would be great to visit Poland, Latvia and Lithuania, haven't been to Poland since I was 20.

Such a bad title. I only clicked because I read your tweet about uploading this video and I think you had something relatable to say. Edit: why aren't we moving away from these sensational titles already? They don't attract the best audience.

You have to win a click on the title and thumbnail. I would prefer to just use describing titles, but then the video will get fewer views :( Anyways, I'm running an A/B test with another title, will see which one will win the game. Edit: Current impressions click-through rate is 15.2% which is great. Seems that title works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks for a good video - the most interesting and helpful (also very entertaining) I've seen on the topic is kzread.info/dash/bejne/k6aemdGMpKqym7g.html - highly recommended!
