Great advice, "There's always more work to do" This hits me very often. I sometimes felt guilty for taking time off and not working. I'm getting better at it though :)

Just wanted to add to this Aivars. When you save for a long time, it's painful let go of those savings and spend. :D

That 2017 desk setup is awesome, great you showed it, great motivation. Amazing journey and improvement that you did there, Aivars. Would like to know how you managed to win on consistency over the years. Especially coming from a good paid job and switching into freelancing and self-employment basically. I find it very hard to be consistent with what I am doing. Thanks for the content as always and keep it up. bye.

Yeah. I'm happy that I made that photo and saved it. It is always great to remember how you started. Consistency and discipline is very wide topic and could be a video or a few itself. I could suggest to do most important thing as soon as you can on the morning when willpower is high. I do not trust evening Aivars at all, he is lazy and do bad decisions. Morning Aivars is ok and quite productive :)

I was told to play BOTW first and then start the new game, so I'm doing that. Switch is low power device, graphics in the game are miserable, but I have to say this is the best game I played in a last few years

I remember this feeling when I was on freelance. At the beginning of the month, you worry about your income and projects. Right now, I'm working as a contractor and have some savings as a financial pillow, and damn, it feels so much safer than before, even during laid-offs in IT. BTW - month ago i've bought PS5 to switch from work and news about war in my country and it helps so much. I also felt guilty at the beginning, but now i'm totally fine with it :)

I dislike everything Apple, but as my Android app started making money, I decided to port it to IOS - so i finally bought an used M1 Macbook :) It didn't change my opinion on the Apple crap, but as long as the iPhone-people keep paying, I guess it is a legit investment.

I don't have strong emotional connection to any brand. At the end of the day they just want our money. Apple ecosystem for me is comfortable enough space to make money, so I do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i quit video games after finishing RDR2 but buying a PS5 to play Atomic Heart was very beneficial for my career... this game is like a bible for whats coming, its about AI and how society could function while depending on AI systems i finished the game and sold the console, so i wont get into god of war, jedi survivor and god forbid diablo4 can recommend: -buy a console -play 1-2 best games of the year -sell the console to constraint yourself from buying 10+ bad boring games and wasting your energy

Hmm, this actually is great advice. I bought a console just to play Zelda, when I will be done with it I can sell it because do not see myself playing anything else on it. Great idea, thanks!
