🎥 | Welcome back to another new episode of #FMCorner. Today, Danny covers a very simple but important topic. 👉 When working with others, how do you get the information you need and in return give the other person what they want when they need it.
Seems easy enough, right? But much harder in reality than we think.
🔸 Your job when seeking information is to be clear, take the time to explain what you need so the person on the other end can understand.
🔸 The return part is just as critical. When the person on the other end asks you for help are you there for them? Do you make it a priority as they may have done for you? If needed, ask questions prior to providing the info so it is clear.
🔸 Follow up with the person after sending over info. Is that what you were looking for?
🔸 It is important to go to the person responsible for the information you are seeking.
🔸 Making someone do a job that isn't theirs over and over causes resentment of you and the original party. Don't burden others who are not responsible.
And remember, it starts with you. Do you try to assist and help others when asked? If you do that on a consistent basis, then there is no reason you should have to worry when you need something from the other person.
It is a land of give and get. Give what you can every time and in return what you get back should be the same.
