What Can You Learn From Your Customer?

Whether you are a vendor supporting facilities teams or a facility manager who supports operations, you can learn from your customer.
If you are a vendor, ask questions
🔸What are the values of the restaurant company you are working with?
🔸What does the company stand for?
🔸What are they looking for in their vendor partner?
Learn more by asking more.
🔸 When is inventory day?
🔸 What days and times does the food truck come?
🔸 How is R &M repairs handled on the budget sheet?
Above or below pac line Will help you determine who is driving work orders and choice of vendor.
If you are a facilities manager, talk to the restaurant managers. Find out what is causing them issues and work to improve them.
🔸 What are their most common breakdowns?
🔸 What would they change in their restaurant?
Again, you learn by asking. By doing this, you will often get a chance to give advice to them. If it helps the manager it ultimately helps you.
Learning by asking questions is the best form of understanding. Use it today to become more engaged with your customer no matter who it is.
