That little list on the back of the inkey list products that list the like steps of the Routine and when to use that product, that reminds me of Paulas choice and how they have each product like numbered for which step in the routine it should go.

I love that one too. Cruelty free, jar-less sanitation friendly packaging, polyethylene free, fragrance free, emulsifies well, a lot of product for your money, and I find myself actually WANTING to use it up.

Even though I think the PHA toner is a great option for sensitive skin, don’t forget to ease it into your routine! I made the mistake of starting off using it everyday and it caused some pretty bad sensitivity and flakiness. I’m going back to using it once-a few times a week at most. This is what I’m using right now to exfoliate and I’m so mad at myself for not being more careful. My skin is fine now tho lol.

Informative video! I thought of getting the pha one for my boyfriend - he has oily, pretty sensitive, acne prone skin (the niacinamide in it should be good for that right?) and the glycolic one for myself (normal-oily skin). Will definitely keep watching your videos (:

Thank you for this review, very informative! AHAs and BHAs are too harsh and irritating for me. I use the Inkey List PHA toner and I have sensitive acne prone combo skin. It’s gentle and so good at getting rid of dead skin. Your videos are so helpful! Can you review TO alpha arbutin + HA vs TO ascorbic acid + alpha arbutin? I’m very interested in lightening my acne scars. :)

I used the PHA Toner for the first time and my skin was immediately very irritated from it... i felt a burning sensation and my cheeks got really red. That is not a normal reaction right? 😣 should i stop using it?

Can I use the pha toner with the inkey list bha serum or/and ordinary niacinamide serum

I'm not sure if i should keep using the PHA toner because it's kinda sticky on my skin and I feel like it clogs my pores.

I have closed comedones I have been looking and it stays salicylic acid. I have the inkey list cleanser and the ordinary serum. I have just purchased the inkey list glycolic acid toner. What do you recommend and what order please x

Is it bad to use both? Like maybe alternate day to day?

Today I am binge watching your videos whilst working 😊🤓 I have bought the PHA toner few months ago and the bottle is still unopened. I got it before starting my Tretinoin treatment with Dermatica ( the Curology version in UK 👍) but I am a little afraid of using the toner yet. Do you use the PHA same day as your Tretinoin , morning and evening ? It would be great to hear which days you use it to give me an indication whether it is safe along Tretinoin. The Inkey List is an UK based company and is pretty much the same as The Ordinary. Very similar products and some say on few product better formulations 🤷‍♀️ Great informative video as always 🥰 you’re a skincare geek 🤓 in a good way ! 🤗

Aww yay I love it! ♥️ no I don’t use it AM and PM. If I do use it, it’s in the AM. And also don’t use it daily. I have so many products I’m testing all the time so it doesn’t always fit 😂 but it’s really just going to depend on how your skin responds because everyone is different! And thank you so much 🥰

heyy thank youu so much for this video !! i stopped exfoliating my skin like beginning of april because my skin was breaking out suddenly. i used to use the neutrogena cleanser and exfoliator and i used to loveee it it worked for me so well till i stopped because of all the breakouts (i never used to breakout usually) and have been using the cerave hydrating cleanser but soon in may i got atopic dermatitis on my face and it was super bad my skin was constantly dry and itchy nothing helped till my dermatologist saw me and gave me anti allergy medications to use on my face but since my foreheads so oily and the cream i use currently is for allergy and to put the oils back into my face my forehead has been breaking out crazy i think i need the pha toner in my life because my forehead is so bad !!! thank youu for this video i hope it works i’m super scared to try exfoliate again lol

You can use it daily! But totally depends on how your skin responds

I tested my skin type I cleansed my skin waited an hour than checked out my skin my skin didn't feel tight or dry it felt smooth so what skin type do I have? Can you help me I thought I had dry skin but I don't know? Can your skin type change just like seasons change?

@@sonjaforrester9255 You could get some reusable cotton/flannel rounds. I got a pack from a local artisan in my area. There are lots on Etsy too or your local eco store. They even come with a little wash bag so you pop them in there then put it in the washing machine. If you are crafty you could make your own with old fabric.

Hello Abbey. I don’t know if you’re going to notice this comment. I just want to ask. Can I apply the PHA toner just using my hands? I’ve been trying to use less cotton pads in my routine to reduce waste.

Hey! So I heard on one of hyrams videos he said don’t over lap exfoliates. Use a BHA in the morning and PHA at night or switch every other day. But ofc don’t use both of them more than twice a week, it could be very sensitizing. I also have the Paula’s choice 2% BHA and I use it in the morning it’s so amazing 😊😊

Just as a quick note, washing off the toner like you suggested for the first one really isn’t the best. Leaving it on your skin for that short of an amount of time won’t be able to do much. It’s a leave on product so it’s not strong enough to do much of anything if you apply it and then wash it off. It really is meant to be left on if you want to actually see any benefits from it. The only wash off type exfoliants are masks formulated to be stronger and be rinsed off. Washing off a leave on toner won’t be doing much of anything and you’re basically washing your money down the drain. If the product is too strong or irritating for someone’s skin, they’d be better off finding a toner they can tolerate and leave on then wasting money on one that’s meant to be left on but is washed off quickly after applying lol

Leaving witch hazel on the skin for prolonged periods can cause irritation. Using it prior to cleanser is a way to potentially mitigate that for those who are irritated by leaving it on the skin, but still want to use that specific toner. Finding a toner that is tolerated requires testing out toners first.

Yes you can! You can look in inkey’s website about their pha toner and it states that it can be used in the morning AND in the night :)
