Also, maybe examples for break out weeks (the week before my period comes is usually the worst!!!), or irritation weeks (after using a bad product/ getting a nasty sunburn), or even a maintenance week (when everything is going well skin-wise and you just want to keep it up). I'm not an expert by any means, but you may want to consider focusing on hydration first. I'm a bit older than you with similar skin issues (oily/combo skin here), and when I first started my skincare journey, I noticed that my skin drastically improved overnight just by getting some moisture into my routine. I think a chemical exfoliant would be okay to use at your age, but use sparingly and take good care of your skin. Prevention is easier than correction.

Ahhh yes! Good catch - it's the Peach & Lily Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask! It's a bit on the higher side when it comes to chemical exfoliants (10% AHA) but it's formulated for sensitive skin types and Fel absolutely loves it! We didn't get a chance to mention it here but we did mention it in several of our previous videos! Here's one (timestamped for your convenience!) that you can check out here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nKSLusShn9TZaMo.html Hope this helps!

I've been using Paulas choice BHA but my skin is still textured and grainy to the touch, and when I use it less often I break out :( !! I'm also terrified of moisturizers now because they all break out my normal to combination skin. Skin is so picky.

That happened to me too with paulas choice. I would really suggest, lactic acid 5% by the ordinary that works the best!

@@memealicious787 2% BHA, I used Kale-la-lu-yAHA by Krave Beauty once but it was too harsh for my skin, damaged the barrier and I have a bad reaction (acne everyone, in places that I don't usually break out)

@@skyzry2023 thank you for the suggestion! What is your skin type? And is there a moisturizer you use that didn't break out your skin?

@@thisisarandomurl2000 my skin is oily combination and acne prone. So i usually apply lactic acid after cleansing and then serum. I havent found the perfect moisturizer yet but i guess cerave works for me. It doesnt break me out but i wont depend on cerave alone for hydration. I use very hydrating serums like niacinamide and some korean brands one like some by mi.

I really dont know why people use cotton pads, its such a waste of money and adds to polluting the envitonment. Also it scrubs on the face, i would not use it.
