Thank you, I do not know how I missed this video. I need to save this video, you just answered my questions regarding Good Molecule Overnight Exfoliating Treatment which I just ordered, and the use of my Vitamin C, E & Ferulic acid. 😘💕Thank you again Abbey.💕
Best beginner-friendly channel. So easy to understand
I have bee useing Paula's Choice 2% BHA to help rid the blackheads on my nose, but have been wanting to venture into AHAs for the anti-aging benefit. So happy you made this video! Extremely easy to understand and I can't wait to add one to my routine (slowly that is haha).
Love it! So informative. Thank you! I'm loving the Inky List glycolic acid.
Thank you, Abbey, for a very thorough and informative video.
love it 💗💗
This video is sooo good. Thank you Abbey!!
Thanks for making this video because adding the acids to skin routine was very confusing 🙏🏼

Of course! It’s a confusing topic for sure
I would so buy that "tret face" merch lol...thanks as usual for a great review love it!! forgot to add I use lactic and mandelic depending on my mood and I have found using them in the morning when I think my skin needs it is the best routine for me as I use Stevia, aussie's tretinoin, at night
These have amazing ingredient lists, but I recommend trying The Krave Beauty AHA because it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin. Loved the video as awalys

Hi Abbey my skin used to tolerate the two stronger AHAs (prior to retinoids), but no longer. I switched to PHA and my skin likes that so much better. I think for the Spring/Summer I may switch from the Inkey list PHA to either the G&G calm exfoliant (PHA and BHA) or the Wishtrend 5% mandelic acid toner. Both of these will have more of a within pore exfoliation effect on the skin, helping with any blocked pores due to humidity and more diligent sunscreen reapplication. I do wear spf year round, but I have to confess I am more stringent about reapplying in the better weather. Despite double cleansing I can get tiny blocked pores in the centre of the face in the Summer - we sweat more and wear more layers of sunscreen, all of which is mixed with the humidity. I'm using up the PHA in the Winter months and I only use it a couple of mornings a week, so it lasts for a while. Best wishes.
I’m reviewing Glytone Mandelic Gentle Resurfacing Serum right now and so far I’m loving for my sensitive skin. Thanks for this informative video about different chemical acids. I’ve used a AHA and BHA toner I’ve done well with but never a serum or Mandelic Acid serum & was intrigued by the different acids. Plus what to use and not use with these acids.
Thank you! I appreciate the research you put into your videos.
Omg! Great job on this 💖
I always learn so much from you! Thank you!
Hi! I just stumbled on your channel just now and i really like your voice and the way you talk about stuff. I will watch more videos from you soon. 🥰
I fell in love with Tata Harper resurfacing mask. Just not the price. But it works wonders.
I'm using Mandelic acid and BHA by Paulas choice to deal with both hyperpigmentation and pores
First love your hair and thank you so informative
Really appreciate the video! Thank you 🙏
Love this video! I love me some mandelic acid! I haven’t tried it yet, but stratia has an interesting mandelic acid product with lots of soothing ingredients 😋would love your thoughts on it!

Yay so glad! I’ll have to check that out 😊
I use the Clear Genius clarifying liquid peel by Bliss. It’s an AHA, BHA, PHA blend and it’s total percentage is 10%. I have really sensitive, dry, eczema, acne prone skin, and this works fantastic for me. I use it twice a week, and it is a leave on treatment. It is $20 dollars, so it’s my most expensive product. But if you’re not a broke college student like me, it’s not too pricey.

I laughed when you dropped the bottle 😂 I just found you and watched just a few of your videos and you’re just so real and relatable! Love your videos! 😁
What lip products are you wearing? Love the color!
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to using a couple of different products - switching it up a few days a week?
Thanks 👍🏽☺️
Ur so informative and funny at the same time I love it!! What do u think of the brand Naturium? I've seen them in target and the products seem nice but are they worth it?

You should have been a teacher, you break it down and explain so well. I might dip my toe into Aha's again i stopped due to tret. Appreciate the recommendations!

I am the same. I’ve had to set aside the acids and focus on tret. I do use Azelaic acid with tret and that’s been working fantastic. I use Finacea 15% with tret and my face is loving it!

@@yasminomer Yes, but it could cause irritation. So try it out and if your skin is irritated, use Azelaic in the am and aha at night. Or you can use both along with barrier supporting serums.
Great video Abbey . . . very helpful! What would you recommend as a higher percentage glycolic acid than the ones reviewed in your video? The one I use currently has been discontinued. Thanks so much!

Whatever works best for you!
You didn’t mention anything about acne scarring, so the Mandelic acid which helps acne, does it also help scarring? I need something that gets rid of scarring and redness... I’ve looked everywhere
So everyone says not to use the ordinary glycolic acid every day. I started using it about a year ago and used it everyday twice daily with no problem. I do have rosacea. Should I maybe use lactic in morning and glycolic at night? Or alternate every other day with both?
Great video! Thank you

I got really weird random cystic acne and I hope this will help 😭😭
I use a 5% glycolic acid toner in the morning, could I use the ordinary mandelic acid at night on the same days or should I switch off the days?
From my waste down I have KP, how often can I put AHA on my body?
Hi beautiful .. I have question please.. so I have textured skin and the white pimples and I have acne what do you think is best for me the glycolic acid or lactic acid serume because I am so confused .. thank you ☺
Naturium has a Mandelic acid at $20
do you have videos on Stratia Mandelic ?
Such an informative video! If your Vitamin C serum is a liquid and your AHA is a cream, should you use the Vitamin C first, then the AHA?
@alabama.worley
Жыл бұрын
You should be using your AHA's at night, and your vit C *exclusively* in the daytime, underneath SPF, as the pair work synergistically.
Thanks Abbey! I was so excited to see this video. It's jam packed with so much helpful information! I currently use AlphaCeuticals Glycolic serum 20, which I have used daily for many years without any problem . . . probably because I acclimatized my skin by using the weaker serums 5, 10 and 15 before progressing to serum 20. Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued and I am looking for a replacement. Do you have any suggestions of a high percentage glycolic acid that is not a peel? (My skin is not at all sensitive.)
Nice 👌👌👌👌👌
Platinum Skin Care has a nice Mandelic Acid.
