You are so thorough and informative. Thanks!
Lactic in the winter, mandelic in the summer as my skin gets oily when its humid. Great video! ❤
Beautifully explained! Thankyou 😊
Thanks for the detailed and helpful explanation.🤗🤗
Thank you Dr. Liu for a very informative video. Should a moisturizer be followed by the lactic acid or Mandelic acid? please advise.
Thanks for a great video! I have a question please: I use Paula's Choice azalaic acid booster which contains 0.5% salicylic acid. I have rosacea and am sensitive, reactive, dry and eczema-prone. When used daily, could that small of an amount of BHA make a difference when it comes to clearing out my pores?
This was such a helpful video, thank you! What about azaleic acid?
As always Dr. Jenny you never disappoint with your videos. I have a question regarding Skin Better Science Alpharet and intensive as well. Do they exfoliate the skin? Can they serve as my exfoliants or do I need a separate one?
Peter Thomas Roth Even Smoother is incredible!!! Love the Ultimate 5 Soultions Moisturizer too … and the Retinol Fusion PM Exfoliating Face Wash is a staple a couple times a week and the Drunk Elephant Protini 10% Lactic Acid is also incredible!!!! Noticeable changes in my skin … all of these took my skin to the next level 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
On my exfoliation day, I use bha in the am and glycolic at night. Twice a week or once a week
My fav bha is cerave blemish control gel i use it in the morning on my target area only and adapalene at night. Love this combo so far. Please talk more about hypochlorous acid in skincare!! ❤❤

You are a precious gem
If i have combo skin, can i use lactic acid ?
Can you use Mandelic Acid with benzoyl peroxide?
I find the most useless and expensive brand is Drunk elephant. Never liked that name of the brand even

Yep I like that one. I’m actually currently using.
I have a lot of freckles/sun spots (turning 30 this year) and I've tried so many things to help reduce the darkness of them but so far nothing works. Do you suggest I should try some sort of laser treatment? I'm also scared of that because my skin is really sensitive too

Vitamin c and retinol routine will help
I tried that Paula’s choice bha and it leave me with a sticky look like my skin didn’t absorb it.

Thanks for sharing. The good news is there are lots of great 2% sal acid toners on the market.
morning dr jenny, I always wanted to know what you think as a board certified dermatologist about layering different sunscreens. I have a combo skin type, and gel sunscreens work best for my t zone but not enough for my cheeks, so what i do is a full face of gel sunscreen, and then layer a cream type sunscreen on my dry cheeks. Am I making a mistake?

Layering is great way to provide additional coverage. You just don’t want to mix them.
please one video for dark and dry lips please ma'am
