Hi! I've been using TO glycolic acid toner for a few months and my skins is totally not agreeing with it! I thought it may have been purging but I don't think that's the case lol. I'm thinking of switching to the GM glycolic acid toner, and I was wondering if skin gets irritated from decreasing the percentage! :)

They all seem helpful and useful even if I haven't used any of them before, however, I think I'll favour The Ordinary Glycolic Toning solution. Just saying.

After 2 weeks you should be seeing some improvement, how are you using it? Do you have anything in your routine that could still be feeding the fungal acne?

Hey! I have fungal acne and closed comedones. My routine in the MORN➖Iunik serum->Benton Aloe->Banana boat sunscreen. NIGHT➖Azelaic acid 20% -> Benton Aloe. And twice a week i use the PC Bha(no AzA on those days). 1)Is the routine applicable for my skin concern and if yes, how long does it take to show results? 2)I use a mineral sunscreen. Is it necessary to double cleanse everyday?

  • @ThuggyMacho

You shouldn't use Glycolic acid on fungal acne. The steps you're taking now sound the most beneficial. Mineral sunscreen is less irritating to the skin so yes. Double cleansing is only necessary on days that you wear makeup. But you should be cleaning your face for 30 second to a minute.

@@mariyammahir7590 I would say if you're going to try an AHA try Lactic acid first and see how your skin reacts to that. It's more gentle on the skin.
