As a father of a 5 year old daughter, I wouldn't like anyone recording or photographing her, but if we are in public, we don't have special privacy laws because she is a child. At the end of the day it's not going to hurt if someone did record her, she has a crazy father, a ferocious mother and other family that will protect her with their lives. So let them crack on. I wouldn't try and infringe on someone's rights because of my insecurities.

If you invite guest to your house just because you are not coming on their camera is it right for the guest to record your house without permission even though its legal to record.

Security at a clearly dying mall should be desperate for any publicity it can get.

So u stand there and call them bullies but you called them weak and say the first security guard has a messed head. You got asked nicely to leave but you didn’t so what he did is what he had to do since it’s private property. Your causing issues for views 😂 it’s sad honestly grow up

It would seem as if the security industry is one of the easiest jobs to get into these days. Look at the state of most of them. Scruffy, no idea how to approach the public in a pleasant manner, some barely seem to be able to speak basic english, no clue about the law that they're supposed to know like the back of their hand etc. Bizarre.

Don’t think anyone will be rushing to visit Keighley anytime soon, great advertisement for the town, who would open a business there, it’s my nearest town and I don’t go anymore, I had witnessed a bag head shoplifting out of a main store I reported to security, pointed out the individual showed them the stuff he had rolled under his clothes there was a lot of stuff, all the security did was follow him out the store and watch him walk away !!! But carrying a camera seems much more of an incident, you cannot make it up !!!

They not suppose to look welcoming, they are there to be a deterrent with some knowledge of customer service, they are also covered by section 3 criminal law act 1967 which applies to the prevention of crime and effecting, or assisting in, the lawful arrest of offenders and suspected offenders. However in this situation they had it mixed up as the 6 youths were more suspicious as to a man walking around with camera which is legal unless hes causing alarm and distress which wasnt the case. As to the asian security officer, he could be in trouble for causing false aligations in regards to the guy filming, it would of been a different matter if it was a school and he wasnt a parent or a guardian taking pictures of kids but he was in a public place.

That security guard looked like a proper bush loiterer whilst banking

The guy film is a absolute clown. Reasonable force can be used to ejected someone from private property...refusal to leave private property is aggravated trespass a criminal offence punishable by up to 3 months imprisonment.. Absolutely clueless..

I used to live not too far from here, it’s gone way downhill over the last couple of years. You know what they say about Keighley - if the world had piles that’s where they would be!

Loved watching 'Happy Valley ' Sarah Lancashire ' is an amazing actress , she plays the police officer role so brilliantly, James Norton plays Tommy Lee Royce , so well , hes a brilliant villain in the show ..i have watched all the seasons ..loved it. 😊

It’s nice to see that the security allows smoking in this shopping centre! As a smoker myself I don’t go into shopping centres or spend any money in them because I can’t smoke, i live near the metro centre and since they banned smoking I haven’t been in the place.

The place is like a ghost town and they are attempting to evict possible customers for the most trivial reasons. Dumb way to run a shopping centre.. They appear to have more security guards than customers.

Hi Auditing Yorkshire. 2 to 3 years ago a member of the public got assaulted in Kingsgate Shopping Centre in Dunfermline West Fife. He was filming some video footage for his son. But the security guards showed themselves right up. So if you want to look it up as they were vicious from what I remember seeing on KZread. 👍

Mentioning an obscure but awesome Mario Kart game was one of the highlights for me

Kev is right , during opening hours it's publicly open , when the building is closed its private property . Those security guards are out of order , the bald guy was trained in CCTV , it said so on his SIA LICENCE , the other guard was trained as a door supervisor.

You have been asked to leave private property, and won’t 🤦‍♂️under common law you can be escorted of the premises with reasonable force , what I you trying to achieve, i watch loads of different auditors, focus pocus , pttp and they seem to be very calm and well versed in law of the land

The public shop what does that even mean. Businesses and shopping centre which are also a business are private, they allow public access but also have rules, like no filming, no dogs whatever. It is not a public place.
