I can guarantee he’s been moved to a training role as he wasn’t capable of doing the job. It’s not that he’s an excellent constable and been singled out as an example to young recruits, he’s been moved there to stop causing trouble.

You have potential new recruits turning up to this Police Training Centre and they're first image of policing is, seeing fully fledged Police Officers illegal parking on pavements, officers laughing & smiling when being informed its illegal. Trainers verbally abusing innocent members of the public they are meant to serve. Its no wonder, the rookie officers walk out into our streets thinking this behaviour is perfectly fine.

It's a positive criterion for selection evidently.

I wouldn't. Yes she seemed fine. Smiling, polite, chatty. But she let her truth intentions know at the end. A fishing expedition, with a how much longer are you going to be loitering. Then to top it off, you can clearly see she had no intention of having a word with PC Bully, Soft as kack. Even laughing with him. Kev was probably right to escape, before a unit turned up.

i actually felt sorry for some of these cops , not being able to retaliate, but thats how they often treat the public on traffic stops etc.....

It is quite disturbing that there are many police who fail to operate professionally with the public members and even treat them with contempt. This video helps explain why the standards are so low. That inspector acted professional and cordial, but she needs to pass this attitude down to her underlings, otherwise she is failing in her standards of policing. In general, if the inspectors don't know or ignore what is really happening on the frontline, some officers will go rogue. Great audit AY.

Caroline is one fit inspector.

No other employer would put up with its employees being so rude to the public but the police force seems to be fine with it as Stuart Jackson’s response to you telling him that you’re going to put in a complaint against him. They don’t care because they know nothing will come of it.

Detective Caroline saved the day really, she was professional, courteous, understanding and i hope she looks at your video. Those 2 other training officers should be put in a leash and taken away and be put with other rabid animals somewhere.

When i was a kid, I was told to respect and help the police when I could if I could. Why am I deathly afraid of them today? Why do I need to take two phones out with me and live stream to a secure platform every time I leave my house?

OMG these are trainers? If your kids teacher behaved like this you’d be horrified. What hope for recruits if this is the example. I can understand they don’t appreciate the filming but this is a totally inappropriate reaction. All serving police officers know about public photography and auditing. New recruits are going to experience this on the streets they need support in how to react. Rudeness and aggression is hardly appropriate. The older cop tried to minimise the bad behaviour, excuse the reaction but it’s inexcusable. Those recruits now will mimic that behaviour because they think it’s the way to react.

They are teaching recruits to be potential David Carricks.

A lot of male police officers could learn a great deal about dealing with the public from Inspector Caroline Stapleton. She was very professional and remained calm and polite, the two officers at the gate were wholly provocative and managed to contribute to making the situation worse than it should have been. Caroline even managed to do some pretty good public relations work on behalf of GMP.

This should go straight to the IOPC. It's bad enough that a cop behaves like that, but what would he be like with no camera on him? Then realise that this guy requires far more scrutiny than any other cop - as he's responsible for training future cops. So what are they going to turn out like if he's responsible for their attitude training? They'll fit right in with all the other filth, that's what will happen. This guy is in a key position to influence future behaviours, and clearly cannot be allowed to continue with these mental problems. I wouldn't put him in the street either, as God only knows what he'd get up to with that attitude. She'll do nowt. Prolly trained her too.
