The DAY 3x DEADLIFT World Records were Broken in 6 Minutes!

Спорт

Just before Eddie HALL's infamous WORLD RECORD 500kg Lift, 3 men managed to break the Deadlift World Record - all within 6 minutes of each other!
The Record stood at 465kg/1025lbs for a whopping 12 minutes before the half-tonne lift!
Eddie HALL, Jerry PRITCHETT and Benedikt MAGNUSSON - take a bow!

He never won WSM but he was the first person to press the Thomas Inch dumbbell over his head only using one hand. I can’t find any records of anyone else doing that. The man is ridiculously strong. He also won the 2002 Arnold Classic where he beat the reigning world’s strongest man. So he can technically say he was the WSM. The moniker he used in the WWF referred more to his powerlifting career where he set a number of world records.

Peiman pulled 476 equipped and will pull 500 soon. Richardson, Rauno, Pavlo and a few more have a chance at 500 equipped. BENNIS RAW DEADLIFT. No wraps, no super suit, stiff bar, less than 100 pounds from the the fully equipped world record, stiff legged the top, absolutely ZERO hitching, held it like it was nothing. Only raw deadlift over 1000 pounds in history. The record is TEN years old and no one is even close to beating it. Only deadlift in history over 1000 pounds to be deloaded I.e. set back down and not dropped. If anyone things a 500kg fully equipped deadlift is more impressive than 461.5 totally RAW, then I also assume you think Scott Mendleson’s 500kg equipped bench or anyone’s record equipped press is more impressive than Julius Maddox’s 770 raw. And that’s a far greater weight difference than Bennis raw deadlift and any of these 500 plus kilo pulls using a super suit and straps lol. Benni is the GOAT.

Benni's lift is very underrated I agree but he also had a shot at the 500 equipped here and didn't come close. The bench comparison isn't fair as you get more out of an equipped bench setup. Could Benni have pulled 500+ equipped the day he pulled that raw record? Yes probably. Could Eddie have broken the powerlifting total WR raw at his peak? Yes probably. Bottom line though it's all shoulda woulda coulda. All that matters is what has been done not ifs, buts, ands and maybes.

Thank you for reminding me, jerry is always a threat for that record. I think if anyone has the potential to pull it it’s gunna be some of the younger guys that are still getting stronger like Richardson or Pavlo.

@@thegoldennugget59 to be honest I like both of them and I just hate to see how they were once good friends and now they’re both enemies, fighting like kids. Literally and metaphorically of course. It’s sad, I miss the old Eddie and Thor support and friendship. It was always about strength, now it’s about whoever is the strongest. A lot of all competitions i used to watch, even when a guy lost, he was cheering the other guy on. Great sportsmanship for a great sport.

Eddies 500 KG deadlift is written in every strongman fan mind, this lift is and will be the most famous lift in human history. This is pure strongman, huge crowd cheering, the atmosphere, the heaviest weight ever pulled. It aint get more entertaing than that. Much more impressive than your Thors boy pussy ass lift in the gym, no one even rememberes it and I will assure you, no one will after 4 years. So to all Eddies haters, stfu, stop putting a black cloth on his achievements. Nobody gives a shit about some Thor, yes he is good, yes he maybe is or was better, but he is just ORDINARILY good. Superior genetics, height and weight advantage, but Eddie did what nobody would think of, underdog achieved this much, he has personality, had one goal he achieved and now he can tell his epic story to his children and grandchildren.
