back in the day , people this big and strong were extremely rare. When I say extremely , it's like one in thousands. because you need a strict regime to get to that point . in medieval times , not many people could eat to satiate their hunger , even less get enough protein to build consequent muscle mass. vikings for example , although depicted as tall and strong , were actually pretty small , and fit, because of malnutrition.

When the WWE , UFC , tennis league comes around we fill it. When strongman comes around , people will subscribe to there KZread channels , buy there merchandise , follow on IG or twitter . But will not show up to the events . Larry wheels is huge , Brian Shaw - Martin licis - and guys of these types get tens of thousands of people to follow but Larry gets millions. Bradley Martin gets millions.

The sportsmanship they all show after winning and being defeated is part of what brings the fans back, glad it's not like the NBA or boxing

@@mrRunist Even though he only beat him by 1 kg because well that's all he needed, you compare how they both pressed it, Eddie's looked way easier. No shaking, no wobbling and no leg drive at all. IMO the most impressive overhead WR ever. And the reason Z was beating him in overhead events was because he was in his prime while Eddie wasn't yet.

Eddie has easier time doing it because his force applied is greater due to his size compared to Shaw and Thor. That's one reason why the great Pudg was always winning.

They are exceptional humans so it's hard to age them but yeah, they do look a bit older. That said, you probably shouldn't do what they're doing into your late 30s.

@Savage Cabbage "Look at the winners and record holders of any Strongman or weightlifting competitions, almost exclusively dominated by Northern Europeans" Given that it's primarily N. Europeans that compete, that's not a terribly surprising result.

I would say Hafthor is more of a showman. Eddie really has the heart and passion for this. I get chills everything I watch his 500kg Deadlift.

Class acts all the way around. These guys are great roll Models for young men! Good in this promotion!

I was a Thor fan till he cried cheat. Shame he cant take Eddies take and just say WELL DONE CONGRATS PAL

This was so impressive I got emotional.. wow, just wow!

I've learned to enjoy watching this sort of strongman stuff, I really like Eddie hall and Nick Best.

The sportsmanship between these two at the end is awesome. It's a shame the way Thor acted at the Strongman final after the Viking press.

The hug at the end of the events, now that, is what sportsmanship is all about.

Respect to the guys that fit these tyres to earthmovers out the back of a van .. sometimes with nothing more than 14lb sledgehammer and wedges/angle iron and levers🤛🏻

Like the sportsmanship at the end. Way to lift each other up.

I love the sense of community that these strongmans have. A competition against eachother, as much as themselves

Eddie is the true champion based on sportsmanship alone.
