    Pavlo clearly didn't cross the line but the referee clearly gave it to him. Bad judging in my opinion. Why do you even have just 1 judge for 2 athletes?

    I'm friends with Pavlo and we all know that mistakes like that cost u. Pav will learn from it and tbh I think if u looked at points Pavlo still would have still come sixth anyway

    I worked in a steel foundary and I'll tell you now Soldier Boys solid shiled would be impossible to hold as a normal strong man. Strap it to their arm 😂

    They do all kinds of events. Many are static type. Your preference is not uncommon though, and a frequent discussion amongst strongman enthusiasts. I like 50/50. Things like this shield carry are unorthodox enough to test different types of "strength", imo. But a good old fashioned log press (e.g..) is necessary in the mix.

    The difficult part is holding onto it with the arms, if they move faster they won't need to hold it as long, it's obviously a good strategy

    Try carrying anything close to that heavy and walking slowly. You wouldn't make it anywhere near as far as you would moving quickly, it's all about the upper body muscle fatigue.
