we have something in common. Here in my Mexican town (cd. Victoria Tamaulipas) never snow ever, and in the summer we reach the 45c° or even 50+ in some places but i love winter and one of my dreams is to live in Yakutska or the north of Siberia or something...someday
Аттарын естип журегим аурып кетти. Калайша халыктын озинин туган тилиндеги аттарынан бас тартатындай жагдайга жеткизген. Обал. Дегенмен аман есен болсын. 😢

Thank you for sharing and showing us the "funner" side of freezing cold weather. I would've been a frozen popsicle by the end of any of those races. 🥶

Here in my California town we don't get any snow. It was 22C last week. I can't imagine Oymyakon, it's such a cold place.
Absolute Crazy!!!!! Congratulations. I think that's incredible life experience. One of my Dreams Is going to visit Oymyakon. I run, but i think some run race in the world, for normal people it's very hard experience, until the end of Life, over the limits. Very congrats to 100 Heroes runners. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hi Maria, new to your channel, love, respect, good wishes, and prayers from Pakistan
Love from Bangladesh ❤🎉
This is a very very heavy marathon. It reminds me to a marathon in Morocco called "Le Marathon Du Sable". This one is severe for the extreme hot temperatures. In contrast, the Tarahumara people in Northern Mexico (Chihuahua state) are the people who can run the longest, estimate 200 kms!
I am watching your video from Bangladesh🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
Total admiration for those athlets , in the future if i reach Siberia i will try the 5km race , but the coldest i am in was -33 skiing on the alps , i need some more clothes and maybe a bit of vodka ! ❤ Love from Italy !
3:45 "The most extrem competition in your life?" For me, its my life itself, that's a very extrem competition ... 😄 Many greatings from Germany.

I live in Thailand. Last week I was at the mall and met a young Russian couple at a ATM machine. I was so excited and happy that I knew about Yakutia because I watch your channel. I told them all about you.

Your videos are fascinating. Thank you for sharing this event. 😊
Just wow... Amazing.
Amazed💫
Where I live, we have a "Polar Plunge" where people jump into the lake in sub-zero temperatures. I think that's pretty extreme.
Thank you for such nice information. Keep it up. Watching your videos in Tharparker desert area of Sindh Pakistan
The coldest marathon of my career as runner was in Monza (near Milan) in January 1983. Despite a temperature of -7° I was able to finish under 2 hour 30. But I could never run at such a low temperature like that of Oymyakon, also because my body fat is too low (39 kg x 170 cm) !
Salam kenal buat maria, saya sangat senang melihat anda membantu Ruhi canet,, 👍👍, I'M from indonesia

This is amazing, do they wear anything special for shoes? I know my running shoes would be sliding everywhere. My hardest race is a blink of an eye compared to marathons, I used to compete in rowing. It's much much shorter but instead of spreading your effort over a long journey you cram it into a few minutes and then want to die when you reach the end. :)
Indonesia hadir kak❤

Although life in yakutia is cold as we all can see. Their's benifits to this harsh yet beautiful place clean Air no pollution good for your health. Not like Americans
At 1:31 "my name is Dragunova" (🔫sniper ) sounds terrible 😱. Pole of cold people are aliens 👽🛸
Love from Pakistan
This was awesome!!! This event should be on EVERY major sports channel in every country! I am 53 years old, but with a years practice and getting to know to such cold weather, yes I would try 5k or 10 k if I could! I love sport!! I love the challenge, I am still trying to get better at my favorite sports!
I like how the banner on the finish line says "Finish" written in kyrillic ( финиш ) 😃 What are the Yakut and Russian words for finish?

I know this is off topic, but a friends paraplegic daughter wants to know this. Actually now that she brought it up I'm curious too. I wear steel toe corks (spike sole logging boots) 12 hrs a day/6 days a week year round. Can you wear steel toe boots there (I know it'll be a bit uncomfortable at 1st), or is there a safety reason NOT to wear them?
Hello Maria, I have been observing the temperature in Yakutsk lately and it seems pretty warm to me. Is it normal in March only to have -19 or even minus 9 or Is the climate change causing it?
Hy mariya
