The way this film is made, I often forget that YOU are there with these men! In some parts of the video, I can hear you breath hard because the cold is hurting your lungs. Much thanks in bringing us these footage to share how some people's lives are so different than ours.

I'm Portuguese and for us any negative temperature generates a warning of cold weather. My husband is Norwegian and once in Norway I was dehytrating with the cold because I didn't know that you would have to drink a lot in cold weather. It's amazing and relaxing to see how you deal with this extreme weather. You have beautiful nature and wonderful strong people. Hugs from Portugal.

yk that actually makes alot of sense. Bruh I always wondered why I was thirsty as shit. I just drink tea at that point cus last thing I need is my throat burning up with the cold.

Also in cold weather it's advisable to eat a little more also, functioning in the very cold uses a lot of energy.

As a cold climate wilderness survivalist myself, I've such respect for these peoples meeting their measures constantly in survival .... Never procrastinating when their needs for survival are always at the forefront of their minds is absolutely and utterly critical. .... Not a moment of precious daylight time is wasted or taken for granted ... Such a fascinating people.

There is nothing more peaceful than a pine forest in deep winter. So beautiful.

I love this because winter is my favorite season. Being from Minnesota, many of us love ice fishing and camping. Although many people use propane or diesel heaters, nothing beats the good feeling of using a wooden stove.

By far the best site on KZread. The relaxing voice finishes it off ...Thank you for restoring faith in humanity

Love your videos, Kiun, especially the ones involving catching fish. 😁 I am an avid fisherman from Vientiane, Laos 🇱🇦 but live in San Diego, California 🇺🇸 for most of my childhood and all of my adult life. I love it here. Our average temperature is about 75° fahrenheit (23.8888889° Celsius). Maybe for about two months it gets very hot and humid. San Diego is next to the coast. I can drive for about 15 minutes and see the ocean water. We have many man-made lakes (reservoirs) and a river that we can also go fishing at. If you can definitely come visit San Diego. We have one of the world's biggest zoos at the San Diego Zoo. Let me know if you do come visit and I'll show you around. California is a large state that has deserts, mountains and forests. There aren't too many places in the world where you can enjoy the ocean, go the the mountains for snow and go swimming in a pool in the same day. Thanks for sharing Yakutia with us. Hi from Yakutsk. Funny how all of it is applicable for Yakutia as well, especially if you live in Tiksi or Chersky, except one minor thing that it's all covered in ice😅

I've lived in -50, the calmness after -20 is spectacular and I know how tough these men are for enduring and working in this environment. It takes a tremendous amount of planning, I'm surprised your equipment still works to be honest.

As as tough as it is living there, the people that live there are making their lives wonderful just because of who they are and how they do it! Not all people have this in them, they are amazing❤

An inspiration that no matter how cold it is , winter is to be celebrated! Thanks for your great videos!

Yeah, we live in California, and people here complain about 50s Fahrenheit and I just showed them this video :) and they were watching with their mouths open! And they said they will no longer complain about 50s Fahrenheit XD

Well done Kiun B. Ice fishing here is cold to be sure. But nothing like that. But the expandable ice huts make it all possible and worth while. We love then here and even stay overnight on the ice. Comfy and warm as we fish through the hole in the ice! Nothing like a good wood fired stove and a meal in the hut!

Hi from Yakutsk, 👋. It's slowly getting warmer, days become longer and longer. At northern parts of Yakutia people met their first sunrise in this winter.

I stumbled upon this channel and absolutely love it. So glad to see these fantastic people sticking together and thriving. Sometimes I moan about our swedish winters but we are like Florida in comparison with Yakutsk.

These people are so great.... whenever I get too cold I literally can't breathe.

I have great respect for these people who live in such a very harsh nature. I live in the desert area in Algeria and it is very hot, but I believe that extreme heat is better than extreme cold. If they gave me a lot of money in exchange for living in that region in Siberia, I would not accept it.

I find comfortable watching you're videos.
