@@MManiaZone Seriously, I was once on the Death Battle sub-Reddit, I was explained why I thought Silver wins against Trunks, and apparently I blew a guy's mind when I showed that the Chaos Emeralds have infinite power... which is something that is said almost every time the emeralds are even mentioned in the comics. I'm pretty sure most people debating this match have not read those comics XD

@@PauloJrchannel Well, infinite power could technically mean you'd never run out of energy for something rather then being infinitely strong. Not trying to argue against the Archie Chaos Emeralds being infinite since i haven't read those comics and have heard enough crazy stuff about said comics to be willing to believe it, but i do think that some infinite power statements could be refuted depending on context (as another Sonic example, when Eggman measures Sonic's quil to have infinite power in the first live action Sonic movie, i think that's more of an example of the quil being akin to a battery that never runs out of energy rather then providing infinite strenght).

"Multiversal+ vs Multiversal+ but more" basically sums up Archie Sonic debates, and I love it.

Archie comics, has way way way way bigger Multiverse, considering GP said U7 is one the worst Universes, because most of the universe was destroyed by either Buu or Frieza, because the Cat of destruction needed a nap, and didn't punish Buu or Frieza. Now considering that U7 population can actually be measured by GP and Zeno, doesn;t make U7 infinite, since infinite can be infinite space, not Population, infinite void is not great. Meanwhile Archie showed hundreds of version of Sonic, all in a different Universe and possible Multiverse, DBS is a joke, U7 has only Earth as capable warriors across the supposed Infinite Universe, 1. Lazy writing and no imagination or because z fuking fighters has to be in spotlight. Or 2. Akira isn't capable of thinking in the future, and makes shit up as he writes. I mean Roshi who was afraid of Raditz suddenly can dodge Jiren attacks, what a joke.

Especially Jiren vs Roshi, an Jiren monologue long to Goku, so he can be saved, nerfing characters and over buff characters out of nowhere just for the sake, of nostalgia, no way a guy like Krinlin that pissed is pants in Namek saga, did nothing in cell saga, did nothing in Buu saga, suddenly can keep up with Blue Goku even he holds backs, tien who did nothing but train monks, is candidate to ToP. Akira mind is so small, can only focus on Goku and Vegeta, while some Villains are God tiers. People are so blinded by nostalgia, they don't see how mediocre anime is and good manga is. Most fanbase is who can Beat Goku MUI, like thats all DBS has to offer. DBS anime 5/10 manga 7/10. The only good parts in anime RageTrunks, Rose Goku, first time UI Goku, and Vegeta still being badass. and Frieza return. A17 spotlight was actually also perfect. he deserves it.

I think this just makes me appreciate Wanda's writing a bit more. Yeah, her fragile psyche sucks for her versus matchups within her tier, but for a dynamic character it totally makes sense for a human who possesses that insane Wamount of power.

Another point for Tanjiro vs Jonathan was that they pointed out that Jonathan could shut off Tanjiro’s brain or heart with one zap of hamon, which doesn’t even require Jonathan to actually hit Tanjiro. Just him blocking Tanjiro’s blade would have transferred hamon into Tanjiro’s body.

@@realrealwarpet well I mean, hamon was written the way it was, I can’t really take it up to Araki. Also he was scaled to P3 Dio because Dio used his body to keep up with Star Platinum. Now I know what you’re thinking, “Wasn’t that only because he got the blood of a previously FTL being? (Joseph)” Well, Joseph has shown not to be able to even react to Star Platinum which makes sense given the fact that Star Platinum is scaled around 1550x while they only consider Joseph’s light beam feat to be *just* FTL. So basically; Dio with most of the help of Jonathan’s body, a couple of regular Human women, and a FTL Joseph somehow rounded up to being faster than Star Platinum. Honestly it sounds just as dumb shit crazy as you and me are thinking but I’m just going off of JJBA logic. Death Battle didn’t go as in depth as I did obviously, but I’m mostly just using context from the source material to cover up what they didn’t explain. Sorry for the wall of text xd

@@memememe7081 hell, i dont count anything he did as scaleable for really obvious reasons. Thats jonathans body plus enhanced by dios vampire powers. Most of his speed feats feel like i could say “he stopped time” and probably be right.

I love that the John Yautja running gag is still going on.

The fact that one of the closest battles that comes down to interpretation got an analysis so bad its the biggest stomp in the shows history is fucking hilarious.

Superman vs. Goku was the biggest stomp with the worst analysis. They fucked Goku hard.

Actually Asta was placed at 11.5 petatons of TNT via a black box Popup: Asta also scales above Salamander, who according to the Black Clover databook is capable of drying the ocean with a single swing of its claws - a feat worth at least 11.5 petatons of TNT.

Just looked that up, it's a roughly 150x difference, which doesn't change it's placement on the list at all, since Excalibur vs Raiden is a stomp over 3000x worse.

Honestly, SpongeBob Vs Super Friends Aquaman might be the hugest stomp in power difference Death Battle has done. If not, I’ll gladly accept being proven wrong.

@@verybigman2270 Per DB logic its Town vs Universal ("And this is actually consistent!" for universal Spongebob, WHILE SHOWING THE UNIVERSE DYING), but EVEN THEN its just the second biggest finite stomp, behind EXE vs Volnutt. Even if you split every conflict in Mega Man Battle Royale.

Silver may be able to nae nae everything you throw at him, but can he out pizza the hut?

Isn't it ironic that the biggest stomp is the one where the winner's writer says "no I think it actually goes the other way"?

Ironically, this season had the most noteworthy stomps (Omni-Man vs. Homelander, SpongeBob vs. Aquaman) yet some of the closest as well (Scarlet Witch vs. Zatanna, Jason vs. Michael, Sauron vs. Lich King, Boba Fett vs. Predator, Gogeta vs. Vegito)

Jason vs Michael was really close, so close that it came down to who can survive more stuff. It comes down to their durability.

12:55 This just shows how broken Archie and the Xenoverse can get (also part of the reason why I think Sonic should've won but whatever that was a couple years ago)

And not only that, Sigma was going to bypass the 11th Dimensional barrier before Sonic and Megaman defeated him, which is way higher than any dimensions that Flash has reached.

I can't speak much to Trunks vs Silver, but DB pretty horribly misrepresents the Black Adam vs Apocalypse episode. I'm not even gonna argue the result is wrong, but a lot of things leading up to the conclusion is greatly misconstrued or argued terribly.

Concerning Warframe vs. Metal Gear - the other thing is that Raiden's big advantage is that his sword is perfectly designed to cleave through armour with it's ability to destabilize metals, which Warframes can counter with the fact they have forcefields which (in-universe) are noted to be particularly resilient against armour-piercing attacks. The other big difference that was not covered is that Warframes are technically a human enhanced with nano-machines - just like Senator Armstrong was, except with centuries upon centuries of additional technological development over the military technology of Raiden (which is said to be 2018 military technology). Senator Armstrong was the enemy that gave Raiden his hardest fight, and Warframes are centuries-upon-centuries more advanced, and started with an elite quasi-psychic super-soldier before using the Helminth nano enhancement to be transformed into a Warframe.

Happy to say that my favorite s9 episode was also apparently the biggest stomp in Death Battle history

This might be just my misunderstanding based on how you worded it, but in Sauron vs Lich King, the island that Gul'Dan raised was bigger then the one that was raised in LOTR, but because Gul'Dan had more help, it ultimately made it the lesser feat. It just might be me, and you conveyed this fact in the episode, but I just didn't pick up on it.

Well tbf, all of Silver's stats were given to his super form, and don't apply to his base. Since his AP and durability stats in base are magnitudes lower than Trunks, there are still plenty of opportunities to where Trunks could win.

It's worth noting that Archie Silver is also the only character in Death Battle history to have Dimensional Tiering even mentioned. Archie Silver is most likely the single strongest character in Death Battle history by the logic present in the episodes themselves (Though if you really wanna hard scale, the likes of True Form Darkseid and IG Thanos should be as strong, if not stronger)

Nice video, and wow poor Trunks lmao. Went from winning every vs show episode to the biggest stomp in DB. Also small correction for Deku vs Asta, a black box scales Asta above Salamander’s 11.5 Petaton feat, so the strength gap’s actually way larger.

To be fair in reality this fight is really close and comes down to interpretation, it’s just as easy to argue trunks winning, db said it themselves, it’s just the way the analysis is formed that makes this seem like a stomp

really? based on the way they talked about it, I figured Silver vs Trunks was one of the closer match ups. comming down more to Silver being able to use specific hax to counter most of what Trunks could do while being in the same ballpark of power.

They didn't give Trunks infinite speed despite giving him infinite strength, and ki scales to both strength and speed so he should have that idk why they didn't do it if their other arguments still say Silver wins. Also they say that Silver scales to Mobius wave and Archie verse has a lot more infinite universes than XenoVerse thus Silver is infinities stronger, which doesn't make slight bits of sense since infinity times two is still infinity, but whatever, by their own metrics Silver is both infinitely stronger and infinitely faster than Trunks.

I meant more about the amount of time they spent explaining the reasoning. they spent only a brief moment explaining how Silver is faster, while spending more time justifying how his powers could counter pretty much anything meaningful Trunks has. because of that lack of emphasis on the stats, it felt like they presented it as closer.

​@@dephony5648Actually, it is possible to have a "bigger infinity". Think about all the numbers. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,... Infinite. Now divide the numbers. 1, 3, 5,... 2, 4, 6,... Both groups are also infinte but still smaller than the original infinity.

hercules vs sun wukong would be considered a stomp considering that they said Hercules had one certain specific win con but had nothing else really to put Sun Wukong down for good.

I....want to put into perspective how many stomps there were this season. Nem put out a video on the top 20 stomps on death battle a while ago, so let's compare. 5 episodes in season 9 crack the top 10 biggest death battle stomps , with Omnimam VS Homelander being a larger stomp than Gundum VS Optimus at the old number 9. Black Adam VS Apocalypse beats out the old number 3, Shazam VS Captain Marvel. Thor VS Vegeta are now in the top 3 biggest stomps in death battle , with Trunks VS Silver being the first.

You have to remember that even with the Warframe comparison, even if Excalibur was equivilant to only 1% of Atlas' strongest feat, that would STILL make him like 4000x times stronger/tougher then Raiden. And Excalibur doesn't seem to be using any mods. So Raiden basically can't do any damage, meanwhile Excalibur just needed to land one good hit.

Due to most people thinking Trunks would win against Silver when the Second Half for the Season 9 trailer showed Dragon Ball Super Trunks to where they would lose hope for Video Game Silver, only to have their predictions backfire when Death Battle showed us that it was Archie Silver to win against Xeno Trunks, in which Nemesis explained it was biggest stomp in Season 9, makes me question reality while also laughing for quite a bit...

Nice to see them both in mk1!

With Omni-Man vs. Homelander we all knew it was a massive stomp in Nolan's favor but we wanted it anyway just so we could get the satisfaction of seeing the bratty, asshole that is Homelander get killed, and as for Superfriends Aquaman vs. Spongebob Squarepants along with knowing it was a massive stomp in Spongebob's favor and that fight was meant to be a joke battle anyway I mean even Wiz and Boomstick after Superfriends Aquaman's analysis don't beat around the bush and just state that Superfriends Aquaman is going to die, especially when Boomstick instead of saying "IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!!!" says "IT'S TIME FOR Aquaman's funeral."

Regarding Black Adam v. Apocalypse: I know that you are using the *episode's* logic, but considering that Adam scales to Shazam, I'm pretty sure he's well above multi-continental. (as Shazam is, iirc, at minimum planet level).

With trunks vs silver I instantly knew silver wins by the simple fact trunks has a limited infinity. Silver has 2 or 3 of them stacked ontop of the other.

I should point out that for Gogeta vs Vegito, it's not so much that Vegeta is weaker than Goku so much as it is that the two are not the same power level. After all, they did bring up in the black box that it isn't clear who is stronger for now, especially since in Super Hero, their sparring match...did not end with Goku winning.

Greater infinity is a bad way to put it, since normal mathematics are fundamentally unable to make greater infinities. It's like how there's the same number of even numbers as the number of integers, even though even numbers are integers and not all integers are even. Just one of many weird things that keep infinity as a concept instead of an actual number. Infinity + Infinity = Infinity. Since multiplication is just repeated addition that means: Infinity x Infinity = Infinity. Since exponents are just repeated multiplication that means: Infinity^Infinity = Infinity. There's also weirdness with directly comparing infinite characters because math breaks down if you try calculating Infinity - Infinity. Silver still wins though because only their powers are infinite, not their experience.

They calculated The Lich King's power wrong,plus they didn't give him the entire arsenal,like a death knight posses. They said Gul'Dan's power was 2 times less than Sauron,Gul'Dan's power beign absorbed by Illidan which was bested by Arthas. Then Arthas binded with Ner'Zhul's soul who at that point became stronger than Gul'Dan. Then Arthas consumed the soul or bested Ner'Zhul and became the Lich King. Plus the whole statement that Sauron could innanimate himself and avoid everything the Lich threw at him it's pretty bad. Considering in WoW that there's many possibilities to attack an innanimate object and more so,Frostmourne strikes at the soul. Without even the need to break the ring,the LK could have ended the fight pretty easily,he had access to unholy attacks,frost attack which would render the victim's movement nearly useless and sustain through blood magic and attacks.

Superman vs. Goku was the biggest stomp according to their stats... but they f*cked up goku's stats quite a bit by pulling his base form strength and speed from the Saiyan Saga. He had trained in 100 times Gravity since then.

@Chaison Peyton well it depends if you think Izuru would outhax Izuku, though for that match is physically outmatched by deku , but Izuru has EVERY SINGLE TALENT which he is the best at, so in theory Izuru reads deku like a book and haxes via poison or something. so whats more important haxes and intelligence and skill vs physical stats? though honestly deku's rather cautious fighting style would most likely be the death of him.

Trunks: it's over Time hog you won't be able to handle my infinite powered attack Silver: Infinite huh you're going to need to be stronger than that Trunks: wait what that doesn't make Senseeeeeeeeee!!!

Re: #1 Infinity + infinity = infinity. There are exactly as many rational numbers (fractions) as there are natural numbers (1,2,3…). In order to get “more infinity” you have to show that the higher infinity is uncountable, like the infinity of real numbers. Besides, a lot of “can destroy the infinite multiverse” or “can survive the destruction of the infinite multiverse” are totally overblown power levels and based on hacks more than raw power.

From what I know, the answer is yes. Bill being Universal to Discord being low-multi, Bill being much faster than light while Discord is immeasurable speed, and depending on what you buy Bill has no way of putting Discord down for good. But I haven't seen Gravity Falls like that so Bill could be much stronger than I know

Love how they wanted to portray Trunks vs Silver as a close match by saying both has essentially infinite stats, but ended up making it their NEW biggest stomp by basically giving Silver “infinite plus” stats and therefore, making him the new strongest character on the show by their own words. Also, the fact that you mentioned Thor’s god blast has infinite strength just makes me even more upset that the god blast in the ACTUAL episode was barely anything more than a laser pointer
