People highly argued about Superman Vs Goku at the time, to the point there's still after effects. However one has to admit of the Season 1 fights it seemed like the most well researched, with both characters having clear indications oh their stats. It can be argued that episode raised the standards for the rest of the series.

I always thought the stomp video needed an update but this is more interesting to me, can't wait to see the rest of the seasons being covered.

This is a great idea. I would say that while using the DB logic is nice, pointing out all the episodes that have little to no logic to them also helps as well (although it is one part “little to no thought,” another part where a few fights were revisited in the future and finally an overall “why put these two together, exactly?”

I feel like there's something you missed for Mario vs Sonic: Sonic doesn't attack using blunt force. He basically becomes a buzz saw. So unless Mario has impressive cutting durability, it's still correct by DB's logic.

I think it works both ways. Usually it's treated as blunt force when it's a homing shot, but when Sonic is just spinning while stationary he can cut through solid objects.

Probably Justin VS Rebecca is one of the most equal fight of the serie, both are just normal young people.

Looking back, I was very unlucky with what episodes I picked. My first was Peach VS Zelda. I also watched the first Link VS Cloud, the second Goku VS Superman (as I was watching the animated version of Darkseid at the time, I wasn't exactly pleased over Superman being treated as if he had no limits), Bowser VS Ganondorf (not helped by the "super lava" argument ignoring that the one time that happened Bowser and Dry Bowser were still the same person) and, of course, Justin VS Rebecca.

You're telling me that Bomberman VS Dig Dug is between Metal Sonic VS Zero and Raven VS Twilight Sparkle of how of a stomp it is?! *_HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!_* Wow. I think I found a new funny appreciation for this episode more than ever.

Everything back then felt very rushed for time - surface level research that was very willing to give the win to someone when they found any semblance of a "winning factor." There's so much more nuance than Rogue's power drain, Spiderman's spidey sense, Link's golden gauntlents, etc. but they didn't bother going into more depth beyond that.

Let's be honest, most Mortal Kombat characters are only strong enough to destroy buildings. If they ever wish to have a crossover with DC again, then they need some major upgrades to just keep up with anybody in the Batfamily

Here's idea you can ignore: How about lists that cover when DB contradicts its own rules in a more subjective way? Like how the equipment was done in Jason vs Michal, or how Thanos wasn't given the Heart of the Universe (on the premise that he's given non-standard things).

power doesn't necessarily scale with durability since what matters is durability of the whole person. Mario could punch a castle to rubble but that would just mean his fists have extreme durability (or his feet, unsure how he demolishes them). His head could still be incredibly squishy. WIth no other data its probably a reasonable assumption just because most actual life forms have similar durability around most of their body (of course like eyes are weaker but otherwise approx similar) I'm ok with that assumption but not for the reasons you stated.

I understand the video is to only use what DB mentioned in the video but I do find it odd that they confirmed that Archie comics were used in Vegeta vs Shadow and yet shadow was still portrayed as not even planet level. The comics at the time would have made him way more powerful than Super Sayien 2 Vegeta which is all he had at the time

@@quentin1016 Mario's damage output peaks at galaxy-tier in terms of feats that are explicitly him, via being able to defeat the Grand Star-wielding bosses in the Galaxy games. _Paper_ Mario is multiversal, but he's explicitly a separate character, as shown in Paper Jam. The Paper Universe is a book in the Regular Mario universe. Applying his feats to Regular Mario would be like applying Lancelot's feats to Shadow. Sonic's chilling at multiversal at _minimum_ thanks to Super Sonic destroying Solaris. Hyper Sonic is even stronger, to a massive extent, but because SEGA don't use the form anymore, it's not really possible to determine _how much_ stronger Hyper Sonic is.

Yer forgetting that Wonder Woman is far more exposed from fists, arms, upper legs, face neck n shoulders yes Wonder Woman would learn not to punch Rogue in the face but that doesn’t prevent her from touching any other part of Wonder Woman’s body that is exposed thus she still wins despite Wonder Woman’s slight resistance
