As always, great video! I did a showroom tour and our entire group rolled around the showroom for a half hour. Super fun and unique chair, very versatile. To me, this chair is the perfect multi-purpose, can sit anywhere and perform any task kind of chair. Painting, computer games, art work, arts and crafts, watch shows, doctor's office, you name it, this is the can-do chair. Special thanks to Mark at 9to5 for getting you this chair and giving us all an educational lesson on European style and design. Thanks Ahnestly for the great review and honest, unbiased information on product. It's great to see 3rd party influencers and reviews give us real world input and reviews.

My dad has one of these, and i think the title of the video nails it pretty well. It's a great chair for STANDING DESKS and generally being able to move around, and is probably the healthiest chair to sit in because it forces you to change position... Which sucks if you do any digital work like art or anything where your seating doesn't really change that often. The chair is aimed towards active office spaces, rather than chilling at home. So if you're a gamer or whatever, I wouldn't recommend this chair.

I have this chair aswell, and I can agree. The thing with this chair is: You, and your body, have to get used to it. Ergonomic chairs, most of the time, are designed to support your back, therefore releasing pressure on your muscles and spine by adding lumbar support. But that also means, that your muscles aren't working, while you sit in a correct posture. They don't have to, because the chair does all the work. And this is where the HAG is different. It's design forces your back muscles to be active, by sitting up straight, moving around frequently and not fully supporting them all the way through. The Capisco forces you to sit up straight by yourself and not by just falling into the correct posture. To me, that is the magic about this chair: Your back will build up the required muscles and will enable you to sit up straight for longer times, even without a backrest. The HAG Capisco doesn't support your back, it enables it to support itself. A friend of mine has this chair for over 12 years now, and I've never met somebody, that has stronger back muscles than him (and he doesn't even do sports, at all). That was also the reason, why I got myself a Capsico too. It also comes with a great headrest, that I can only recommend. That all said, I still got myself a Herman Miller Embody aswell, because I too, am too lazy to constantly work on my back muscles. I use the HAG at work now, sitting in it for about 8 hours a day, moving around frequently and I can still focus on my work pretty well (am a software developer). And when I get home, I just fall back into my Embody and forget about even sitting in a chair. I can only recommend this chair, if you are willing to go through some weeks of getting used to it. This chair isn't perfectly comfortable from the start, and it never really will be for people, who just wanna sit for 8 hours straight. It is really different from sitting in a normal chair.

Funny enough I just bought this chair (HAG Capisco) after being indecisive on a more traditional office chair, even after seeing all through your channel and the Blind Guys testing of all the office chairs (absolutely hilarious btw). The chair really does benefit though with the additional foot rest accessories ($90). Gives you yet another additional way to pivot your posture, which is really the reason you get this chair; to let your body do what it wants, so you can concentrate your brain on your desk task. As they say 'the best posture, is your next posture'.

@@Ahnestly I'm really glad I went with the fabric option too. It doesn't seem like it's going to prematurely wear out faster than anything else on the chair. Time will tell. Are you keeping yours for a longer term use? It would be interesting to hear your perspective on how well you think the chair does benefit from a longer trial run (say a week or two of use) and to hear you would compare it with the class of chairs in that range (Embody / Aeron /Gesture ). Thanks for all your help navigating this path!

I've seen your videos in my recommendations and watched a few of them. Well explained videos and I wonder why I'm not subscribed yet. I'm not technically in the market for a new chair at the moment, although I had the initial thought of being fascinated/curious by this type of chairs. I currently have a cheap gaming chair, but I tend to fidget a lot as well and my partner interrupts quite often, which requires to make me move off and on of my chair. As a short person, I'm glad you included measurements as well. Seems like this chair would be worth the upgrade! Side Note: For "The Best Intro" - just made my day better. I must admit, I've done this multiple times on mine, but it's awesome how you were able to capture it in the most cinematic, yet hilarious way! Love it bro

I really like my HÅG chair because I’m smaller and most ergo chair armrests are too far away from my arms/elbows, even if I adjust them. The backrest on this chair allows me to rest my elbows on it, which helps my posture (opens the chest, as opposed to shoulders slumping forward). I like the firm cushion and that I can put my feet on the little rest areas on the chair legs. But it’s not a chair for everybody - my husband greatly prefers his Herman Miller ergo chair.

I spend several agonizing weeks trying to decide on the embody or the Kinnarps. I ultimately picked the Embody because I just preferred the looks and feel of the seat. The Kinnarps however had so much adjustability and the headrest is pretty good. Great video as always keep it up!

For my sit stand desk I have been looking for a chair that would work great with the desk, my sitting habits and when I’m gaming for a few longer hours than I need to. It seems a bit pricey but I’m hoping this will be a chair that I will have for a VERY long time.

  • @Ahnestly

Hey! Bc I’m constantly reviewing chairs, I don’t always get to do long term testing with a chair, unless it’s a chair I absolutely love and use regularly outside of these reviews. I can say this though - the HAG is such a cool utility chair. You see it time to time in my reviews, bc I love how small, light, and compact it is that I can just roll it over and plop down for my reviews. I use it when I’m building chairs as well (again, just rolling it over and sitting down is so easy and it’s open, so doesn’t get in the way of anything. My recording sessions can take up to 2-3 hours, and I’ll be sitting in the chair for the most part and it feels great. Chair has held up great, but again, I’m not subjecting it to use and abuse daily, so take this with a grain of salt. I will def revisit this chair someday…

Hey bro, you're an expert, I need some advice, I want to try out the Hag Capisco chair, before considering dropping $1,000 on it, but I can't find a retailer that carries it. I live in Connecticut, but am willing to drive to a bordering state if necessary, do you know of any places that carry it? thanks.

We have Håg chairs like this one at my workplace in Sweden, I hate them, I have a Kinnarps 8000 chair that I use when I swap between standing and sitting. Love my HM Aeron at home though.

Håg is brand from Norway that focus on motion and balance and your review reflects that. :) The å in Håg (an a with a ring over it) is pronounced like "oo" in the english word poor. Hag (with an a without the ring) means something like "ugly old woman" in english right? Not fair to the chair. :)

the worst chair i ever tried! Good for a 5 min sitting, and awful for any long term job. It is so stiff and so bumpy! Zero back support, it is so bad for sitting straight! But then if you ride all through the office and sit in kamasutra positions for 10 min max, then i guess it is good. Tho too prices, my $200 chair provides more comfort, and more sitting positions, but is just too large to carry around the office.
