Haha! Thanks! I use that clock format from traveling and needing to know train schedules and stuff. Wanted to make sure it was secondhand for me, so I switched all of my clocks over about a decade ago :)

Love the set up! I currently work in my living room next to my Chemex... and that’s it 😆. My favorite is that you have your Leica M6 next to you. I thought I was the only one that likes working next to my camera which is my Nikon F3

It seems he got a 72x60. Looks about 3 27" iMacs on the main side and the return looks to be about 2.

Super helpful vid! Which size is it?

Hi, Benj. I watched the video in hopes that you would mention the wall cabinets behind your desk. They look to be about chest huh and made of glossy white and natural wood materials. Seems like shallow storage also. Where did you purchase those? What is the storage unit called? The open air shelving on the bottom is a nice touch. I love your space!

It’s based off of the famous Stendig Calendar, but I didn’t like the MTWTFSS design and preferred the SMTWTFS style. I’ve linked it in the description :)

So I'm addicted to desk/studio setups (and used to have a Fully Jarvis! Love them). And WE ARE READY FOR A BENJ HAISCH PODCAST if you want of course :) Just saying 1st subscriber is ready. :D Also, how big is your studio space wise? Seems small enough to be intimate but big enough to have some options for shooting, guitar, content, editing, etc. Love it!

yeah dude! it's a 12x18' so just big enough to do what I need. The L-Desk does impede on full body shooting against the backdrop, but I actually should be getting a set of casters for the desk itself as well, so I'll be able to move it back a could more feet to provide more room against the backdrop if needed. The podcast will most likely get pushed to the offseason now that things are rolling a bit again and I'm trying to build out this channel a bit more though. Between actual work, Patreon, KZread, etc adding a Podcast is probably too big of a bite to take now. I really would love it though.

I have the standard Fully Jarvis. Even just the two legs is super stable. Your L shape desk even has the horizontal stabilization bar between the legs. So yes you have a super sturdy uniy

It’s amazing

I really like my HÅG chair because I’m smaller and most ergo chair armrests are too far away from my arms/elbows, even if I adjust them. The backrest on this chair allows me to rest my elbows on it, which helps my posture (opens the chest, as opposed to shoulders slumping forward). I like the firm cushion and that I can put my feet on the little rest areas on the chair legs. But it’s not a chair for everybody - my husband greatly prefers his Herman Miller ergo chair.

Well done! I think I'm sold on the L desk vs a regular 60x30... or am I???

I really want this desk I can’t tell if it’s too big … I wanted 72 by 72 but I don’t want to wait till may because it’s back ordered

What size was this? the 180x160 or the 200x160 cm?

I don’t have any long term reviews, but it’s held up perfectly. Absolutely zero issues and the cushions are still like new.

What are your thoughts on stability with desk? Does it shake your monitor when typing at an elevated level? Wobble?

It’s suuuuper stable, but I also think that it’s because of the L shape.

I'm confused about what the iMac is actually sitting on top of?

BROOOOO I'm still stuck between fully and uplift HAHA and between L shape and Straight desk. I bought my monitor mount but have n't used it yet and about to get a 34 inch monitor ultrawide curve

@@Blue18Wood I got the uplift straight 72 inch White Laminate. Its a nice desk. its nice because they are willing to let me return the desk after 6 month of using it which is crazy. I wanted to return it for a custom solid wood desk(even though its expensive i think its worth it and pretty but still deciding on the Maple, Ash, Or or white oak solid wood top. ) but Honestly i've been too lazy to return it so maybe i'll just keep it who knows. And I kind of regret not getting the L because its so nice having a corner desk and i threw away my old L desk for an uplift. But at the same time I don't regret it because what if i move out into a smaller place and my L shape desk won't my room anymore. I think you'll like it. both are great in my opinion. My room could fit an L desk at the moment but when i move out maybe not so i decided to stick with the straight. Heard the designer white one is nice too that was the one i was learning toward when i saw the picture. so good luck!

yeah, I've played in it plenty. lots of flexibility on how you sit depending on if you're holding the guitar in a more classical way or not. the footrest is also really helpful
