I'm planning on switching from a TV to a monitor for my ps5 for the higher framerate. I think for now I can settle with 1440p since hdmi 2.1 is so expensive and idk I don't wanna spend more on a monitor than I did on my ps5...

I feel like 699£ would have been the best price for a monitor of this spec

For my gaming consuls I have a 71 or 72 inch flatscreen Vizio in the living room that does everything (which I think are very underrated Tvs, is theyre cheap and price for everything you can do with it and get with that including the graphics and all that). Then in my room I do have the 55 or 65 inch LG you just mentioned and I absolutely love that one too

Yea that or a Nano Cell from LG. Kind salty got my wife a 49” and it has 120fps at 4k and 144 at 1080p.(might be mistaken been awhile.) but we paid $600ish for it VS our 2019 55”OLED B9 was $1,000ish discounted. (Yes it was purchased same year was released just at the end of the year.)

In my country and local stores, with these specs i need, only this monitor it deliveres me. So yea it's pretty much overprized but i need - HDMI 2.1, VRR, USB-C(DP), Accurated colors for work and with 144Hz and 4K resolution. Any monitor has that here, so i buying it.

They should make cheap micro-LED monitors by now or QLED. Whichever has better contrast and no burn-in issue.

I got the LG C1 OLED and I'm perfectly happy with it. I've got a series x and ps4 pro and I couldn't believe how much better ps4 pro games looked on it.

As for why wouldnt you just buy a big tv for the ps5 for that price well, 27 inch means its on a desk and people dont usually play their playstation on a desk. Unless they have a pc on said desk

For £129 you can get a 24inch 144hz 1ms response time msi g24c monitor its on curry’s pc world right now for that price definitely worth it i bought it and it’s good it’s 1080p 120 FPS but for the price you can’t beat it

144hz but sony doesnt even alow you to go above 120

Imagine pricing a $250 spec monitor for 4 times the price A more decent one can cost $300-350 and that will probably be the maximum I'll pay for a monitor even if someone gives me $1000 for free (or I'll just go for a dual monitor setup and save the rest of the money, 3 monitors are just an overkill. I have a dual monitor setup and 2 monitors are perfect for me)
