Thank You so Much!! This video is a God Send. I have been streaming on twitch directly from my PS5 with no knowledge that the stream was not picking up any audio. Someone who subscribed to me told me about streamlabs and connecting to a computer. I told them I would try it out and research a bit. This video really helped! I have a laptop with 12GB ram so I think I will start out with that. Then possibly buy a small form factor sorry streaming. I play my PS5 in the livingroom so it's a bit awkward to have a full set up. But seeing as I have a monitor, yeti mic and a laptop already, all I need are the little things to add.

Thank you! That was quite a while ago, when I started making vids as a kid haha

For your output, you need to mess around with the settings for the capture card. You're gonna want to set the resolution to 1080p and the frame rate to match the output. For the colors looking weird, you want to put a filter over it to change up the colors to look like your actual game. I've had this capture card for a while now and occasionally there are instances where your microphone echos the game audio, I've been trying for over a year to fix it with no avail, but it doesn't really affect the stream too much, hope this helped someone 🫡

currently working on building my set up at the moment for my own youtube channel and this video definitely helped me out alot, for now tho instead of using the gear, im probably only going to get the microphone and in the mean time im just going to use the ps5 streaming abilities strait from the system on my end it seems to be working so far i cant wait to be posting gameplay soon! going to be super hyped up and excited thank you for the streaming tips definitely going to come back to this video in the near future.

When I started I streamed directly from my ps5 and used overlay expert to set my alerts brb screens etc on twitch. I used a blue mic with ps5 webcam. It can work it is enough but if you want an OBS setup you need to save up for a decent machine with dedicated graphics

Some of this i dont need but some i do like

Love the video man. That's a great way to start getting people feet wet in streaming. The only thing that I wouldn't recommend is getting a gaming laptops unless you do alot of traveling. If you're going to buy a gaming laptop you might as well buy a mid size gaming pc. Laptops are just as expensive and tend to overheat faster. The buget laptops that you recommend don't have as great of a gpu in them other then the msi one. I would be careful on getting used laptops as well. Its like putting milage on your car. The more someone used it before you the less longevity you have with it.

Yeah, definitely a personal preference thing depending on what someone wants. I've used both solid laptop and desktop gaming computers for streaming with good results. The laptop I will say was definitely handy when in school to take to classes and such, but desktop is nice for a stationary setup as well as the fact you can typically get better parts for less. The machines I showed in video (that don't have dedicated GPU) are the cheapest options I would recommend for a stream setup.
