Tai Chi for Beginners 02 “Balance and Flow”

Tai Chi Chuan is about balance and flow. In this episode we’ve added the following Tai Chi Chaun movement patterns: “Golden Rooster Stands on One Leg,” “Wave Hands like Clouds,” and “Repulse Monkey.” An emphasis is placed on increasing balance and flow throughout the movements. To learn more from Dr. Daniel Hoover, DC, LAc, MH, please visit his website at SOHMA.org.

I had been looking at DVDs for the slow step by step instruction a beginner needs, this looks like it... I would like to learn the cycle of movements to do daily since I am not working now. This seems to be the only instruction I have seem to enable a viewer to understand the movement and, the purpose.

I have balance issues after a car accident & my co-ordination when walking is all out of wack. My Acupuncturist suggested Tai Chi balance exercises to do in conjunction with his treatment. I find this video so helpful & easy to follow . Thank you Peggy Wood
