Okay, I will see what I can do…..I’m not sure they’ll listen, but let me check………………………………checking……………………………..they said to be patient and you might be surprised by what they present, James Gunn is an amazing director and storyteller and even stories that might SEEM like retreads of familiar plot lines, would be really awesome through the filter of his talent as an auteur. That’s what THEY said…..when I checked with them…..because you seemed genuinely concerned and upset about the prospect as you voiced your concerns to basically everyone BUT them….yeah, that’s what THEY totally told me. @@agentcooper2815 full disclosure here, as soon as I heard Henry Cavill wasn’t donning the cape, my interest was diminished by half right off the top. I wouldn’t say I’m a JG super fan, but I like most of his output. Basically, we’re never gonna get exactly what we EACH want, but at LEAST give it a chance before you decide. But this is ALSO coming from a Zach Snyder fan, so MAYBE I’m not the guy to give advice…..thanks for being a good sport, btw…..I was hoping to get a laugh and at least you didn’t freak out and take it as an insult! They did something similar in Superman: The Animated Series. Lex was able to clone Superman, but the clone slowly started to deteriorate with his skin going pale and his speech becoming broken and simple turning into that worlds Bizarro. In this case though this character was more sympathetic as he was made out to be a victim of circumstance and in the end was just trying to live up to the ideal of Superman but couldn't mentally put things together due to the mental damage from the cloning process.

Unfortunately, that version still is and probably will continue to be, superior to anything the movies have done..I have very little hope in Hollywood making anything decent with my favorite comic book and cartoon characters..Hope Gunn can bring something close to the animated series to the big screen but wouldn't bet a dollar on it..

This is exactly what I was thinking about while watching this video and I was a little sad that charlie didn't mention that awesome Superman TAS episode in here, I think it would be awesome if they did something similar. For me personally Gunn hasn't disappointed with his movies and I believe he cares a lot about the story and that is the most important, I chose to believe in him. One of the things that excites me a lot when reading about all the heroes that will appear in this new DC world, it sounds to me like The Animated Series Batman, Superman and JLA I still love this series so much and I'm excited to see if he will create something similar in this new DC Universe. I can not wait to find it out!

This is great! I was worried Gunn was going to give us a Superman movie that fully embraces and fleshes out a classic, beloved villain that the majority of paying viewers really want to see. Thankfully he said “heck, no!” to that and instead is giving us yet another opportunity to watch Superman fight a facsimile of himself. It looks like the 80’s kids finally get the return of Nuclear Man, whom they’ve been begging for these last 37 years.

@@jamesonblues I think KZread is removing posts with links in them. I responded yesterday but this morning I didn’t see my response, and so I responded again and watched it vanish off my screen. I will say that I can’t find the original story I thought I saw about it being cancelled. I think I may have misinterpreted something along the way. What I am finding is a bunch of stories that talk about how they have no current plans or that it is unlikely. And the reason is apparently Gunn only owns half the rights. So I’m going to assume that that story isn’t related to the “Evil Superman” news at all.

Henry is ultimately the best Superman, the director should do more in showing how powerful he is, the justice league when he was resurrected kinda showed his strength against the League.

AT this point Charlie needs to direct one of these Movies 🎥🙏🏽

I can’t wait for Superman 2025 these new details and concepts has me hyped for more updates about what’s going with James and Peter DCU plus Superman v Lex Luthor but I wouldn’t mind seeing Brainiac or Parasite but a clone Superman movie that could add the new superheroes that already exist but with playing with the identity of Supes as well which would be interesting by also adding in The Authority and new superhero characters in the film.

In the comics, Bizzaro was originally a clone of Superman, that actually thought he was Superman. Then became distorted and a bit backwards. Superman eventually found him the square planet the became known as Bizzaro World.

2025 is going be the year for Superman

I actually really like the idea bc it show lex ultimately is the villain it could be an interesting way to look at the way Clark views himself with such insecurity ,and some disdain for being an alien similar to my adventures literally having to face himself.

I bet on Bizarro knowing Gunn's sense of humor plus he was Lex Luthor's creation in Red Son which seems popular enough for adaptations to pick stuff from its lore.

I wish they would always give superman this heat glow effect around his eyes. Or like a heat mirage effect to explain why people can't recognize him as Clark through photos or in person (as superman). Done intentionally on his part. I think it would be a cool addition to his character mythos.
