Given that the first Crisis movie wasn't worth the rental fee on Amazon, I'm not holding out much hope for the other ones. We'll have to wait and see what they do with the new Superman, that movie will truly be the make or break movie for Gunn and the new DCU.

Probably not happening from Gunn. Take a look at his filmography, he primarily writes/promotes/casts/produces white characters. In all his movies he's written/made put together he's only had a handful of real speaking rounded out POC characters. You can count them on 2 hands. Half of them are solely in GotG. I'm not implying anything negative just being purely factual. That's just what he writes, so don't expect a movie solely led by a black character...

It better be the justice league animated version not the new 52. The core people need to consist of superman, batman, hawkgirl, flash, John Stewart, Martian manhunt, wonder woman. An if I may add we need the batman glare stare. So if you make the eyes movable kinda like Spiderman I think would be really nice

After they announced doubling down on live service games, even in light of the failure Suicide Squad Killed Rocksteady, im avoiding any more of them games. Let's hope the films and series are of better quality.

Man I would love it if everything was leading up to a Blackest Night event in the DCU because it would be something new that hasn't been done in live action (and animation I think)

I think Brainiac is the perfect first major villain for the Justice League. With the Lanterns TV show learning about Brainiac already hiding a piece of whatever he is on Earth waiting for the right time to invade or something, the rest of the Justice League set off on an adventure to discover whatever it is. Lex Luthor also finding out about this after the Lanterns show and wants it for himself and ultimately unleashing Brainiac on Earth. I know it's not even cannon or anything but at least this would be interesting to tie everything up together or at least they have an arc for their first chapter.

you dc fans so naive? what makes things this even succeed past first chapter ? spamming content and tying tv shows is reason phase marvel failed you except dc a less popular brand with a smaller us only streaming service in hbo max to compete, most people watch this movies wont see tv show your interconnected module is rigid from the start. Mainstream simply dont care about dc outside of batman by the time do big jla crossover marvel has already beaten to the punch with secret wars. There nothing dc bigger in scope than endgame infinity war or even secret wars even if they do crisis in terms 10 time i dont think beat any those movies

Pattison's Batman is somewhat detached from the DCU, Cavill's Superman is unfortunately at the centre of the DCU. Rebooting will affect any character that is tightly attached to that universe.

Been waiting for Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) to appear during the old DCU but now James Gunn took over I'm more interested to see other characters that hasn't been seen in live action

Thank god we're finally getting a singular universe expanding comics, games, movies and animations. The multiverse was fine, but we need Justice League Unlimited with some inspiration of Kingdom Come. With Gunn in the helm of all of it, I believe that it's in good hands moving forward.

I can’t really see the big picture and how this all connects and works together, especially the creatures commandos and dinosaur justice league. With that said, I know Gunn has a plan and I stay optimistic this’ll work, but I’m not really excited based off what I see so far.

I want some sort of conclusion for Snyder’s movies (to man of steel,bvs UE , ZSJL 1) because the original conclusion was ZSJL 2 and 3. NEED THAT

I'm still holding out for Michael Rosenbaum to play a live action Wally West one day, just like he did when he voiced the Flash in the animated series.

I think it's interesting that DC has shifted to what Marvel was doing in the sense that Marvel TV and movies were all supposed to tie into each other (with Sony and Fox being the exception.) DC started with separate worlds for the DECU, the animated movies, and various TV projects. I think tying it all together does mean that, if the products are at least decent, they can support each other. We'll see how that works out.

I think we all want a Batman Beyond movie, lol. Even though I am excited to see what the new Superman movie is going to look like.

Wish it was the Legion of Doom in the swamp. Hopefully they get the team right and a mix of main and minor members, John Stewart lantern, costumes, and against Darkside

They should take inspiration from the new frontier comic thats a great justice league comics could seves as a justice league origin story.

Justice League roster i want for first movie - superman, batman, wonder woman, flash, aquaman, green lantern (hal jordan), martian manhunter Justice League roster i think we'll get - superman, batman, wonder woman, flash, green lantern (john stewart), hawkgirl I'm hoping for the classic 7 but i doubt that'll be what gunn gives us and he'll try to differentiate the his DCU roster of the justice league from the DCEU Having john stewart as the lantern instead of hal jordan who could be the more spaced based lantern early on and another female member will give the first justice league roster some diversity to it I also doubt mr terrific will be a justice league member as i think they're setting up the terrifics team as they already have half the roster with mr terrific and metamorpho and there is speculation that plastic man could appear rather early in the DCU slate

With Supergirl coming in and Lex being a big figure in DCU, i feel like they will make Brainiac the main villain of the first two phases of DCU, with Brainiac and Lex having a strong connection, then we find out about Darkseid being behind Brainiac and soforth

James Gunn Flash needs an origin movie. Take the audience on a journey with flash. That's why the first season of flash is so great. It was like putting a puzzle together, Barry, finding out how his life was tore apart.

it looks like lantern series will play big role in shaping future of dcu

I hope they make a live action pseudo version od The animated “justice league the new frontier” movie set in modern day. It makes a really digestible origin stories for both individual characters and the league itself. Also, the “bad guys” are all kinda anonymous creatures which would let them get creative with how everyone uses their powers without worrying about holding back for the sake of keeping a PG or PG13 rating

Would be nice to have a JL team and work and talk like a team from the animater shows. Besides the original 6 from the Avengers i never felt the newer characters were a team, characters just calling themselves Avengers. Just how i felt.

I just hope... They start over completely, new batman movie, new superman, new flash etc etc ... Because i enjoyed the zack snyder Verse batman and Superman alot, i just hope it wasn't a waste scraping all of that to just do the same mistakes Snyder did continuity wise and story wise. The time line was all over and fast forwarded so fast it just skipped over so much that we couldve had.

I hope we see Superman fighting Darkseid in the DCU.

Even now I can't believe that DC didn't continue the Justice League from the Jack Snyder DCEU universe. What Zack Snyder has done in the DC universe, I don't think will be matched anytime soon. And a DC movie without Henry Cavill in the role of Superman seems inconceivable to me. He is the true superman and no one will be able to replace him.

Some good news I'm really hyped for gunn's dcu! Superman is like Captain America get that right and the rest falls into place for future dcu stuff. Can't wait for lanterns and penguin starts soon so that's gonna be amazing and I see gunn using guston as a new character or a Jay Garrick but a slightly younger version

The coming movies will never equal the animated Batman, Superman, Justice League and JLU, or the Reeves 1and 2, and the Keaton 1and 2, in any way but special effects. I love Cavill and Bale, but they were a different spin on the traditional heroes, which were done perfectly by Reeves and Keaton, with the perfect villains, Hackman, Stamp, Pfeiffer, De Vito, and Nicholson. The only miscast role was Kidder, but even she couldn’t mess those movies up. I just wish those guys had been in a Justice League movie.

I can not understand why people would want to watch dinosaurs as the Justice League.

Considering they got Marvels last great director on their side I'm actually really hopeful for this reboot
