My prediction on what the story will be about; the reason why I think there are so many superheroes in the movie is that the film will ask “What makes Superman stand out?” I think this young Superman will struggle to find his uniqueness amongst all of these other superheroes which is parallel to real life. A lot of them can fly, have super strength, and shoot lasers or whatever; most are more popular than Superman. Perhaps this Superman is a little down because he’s feeling purposeless since there are already other superheroes doing his job. Hopefully this movie will successfully answer the question that was brought up in Superman Returns, “Why does the world need Superman?” Superman Returns’ answer was, “Because he can solve problems with his superpowers that normal people can’t.” He’s more than just his powers. Hopefully the movie will be about that. Stay optimistic.

The Superman suit looks like the Kingdom Come version.

Gunn wasn't wrong; Rosenbaum brought a multi-layered dimension to the Lex Luthor character that I haven't seen done since. He absolutely was the best Lex Luthor bar none.

It actually looks like a troll photo and not actually from the movie itself. I wouldn't put it past Gunn to have taken a photo of Corenswet just getting ready or dressed for the next take in between scenes and then just photoshopped in the background to make it look like an actual film still.

That's just another usual day on the Internet, people start judging way too quickly before even giving it a chance, the same thing happened with Pattinson's Batman, everyone jumped on the hate bandwagon as soon as the first look came out and then changed sides when the actual movie released, I'm sure same would happen with this one too..!!

I like it and most of what I’ve seen so far. Now if they use the OG Superman them then I’ll be happy

I keep planning on watching that movie with Ben Affleck as George Reeves but forgetting. I've got to do that one day. As for Michael Rosenbaum and Nicholas Holt, Michael did a great interview with Holt on his podcast/video, I highly recommend it and the James Gunn interviews he's done.

From a old comic guy,I first saw the Supes' with Lucille.Or in the cartoons.Sp when they came out with the Underoo's. I was all onboard,until they came out with the all weather SuperRoo's.

I think the background was just promo imagery and Gunn literally said he's not using volume

I like that you have a non-bias analysis and theory without non-rage clickbait type thumbnail and title like many other channels

This suit give me "that is to large vibes..."

Definitely appreciate the insights here, given how little anyone not directly affiliated with the production can get from any source! Glad there is a (purportedly) strong Kryptonian element to the story -- esp since it's not an origin story; finding out more about Kal's/Clark's heritage along with him might help stabilize this film a bit, given its many moving parts and characters. Will see this just for the Krypton stuff alone, regardless of what else is going on here. Waiting now to see who will be cast as Jor-El and Lara (if there is a need for both characters in this one).

James Gunn did say, a while ago, that he had a pic of Corenswet on his phone. So it's just a picture of an actor getting dressed, with easter eggs to frame it. The marketing shots and the actual character of Superman aren't represented so far.

Growing up I literally had 52 different Superman shirts sbit was wild then eventually I found out the new 52 serried was dropping lmao one of the biggest Superman fans been waiting for this

I’m ok with a V 1.0 proto suit for the first film.He got too buff to hide the muscles

I love it so much superman getting dressed in his apartment is so relateable very all star superman is inspired plus having the spit curls ,and the trunks back gets me emotional!

So his apartment and specifically the windows are very reminiscent of the Adventures of Batman and Superman scene where Batman tracked Clark and figured out his identity. Hopefully we get a similar scene from Gunn

As a lifelong traditionalist fan of Superman, I have to admit, I love the New 52 suit! But it was short lived. The variations since then have not worked. Hopefully this new one will look better.

The kingdom come logo looks mad good But to be fair it’s the internet I think people needs to calm down for a while We’re gonna get a much better look and reveal photo anyway Totally blowing this out of proportion

I don't hate the suit. I still think that overall the MoS suit looks better, but I also like that they went with a the collared new 52 style influence. Maybe it will fit differently when he is standing up? The only real negative thing I can say about this one is that it looks too loose on him.

It is way too early for this type of reveal. I'm gonna make a prediction that this is just the home-made suit that Clark either made it himself or someone else did. But at the end, he might unlock something in the Fortress of Solitude and generate a new suit or upgrade this suit, which would be an official one.

I think what would be a dope idea.. they show the lobby of the daily planet and it shows old time news reporter items.. notepads… old papers and a phone booth.. then something pops off he looks around to change into the suit walks to the phone booth and says nah but exit out the lobby in the rotating door spinning that fast changing and taking off.. it won’t happen but just a thought

Maybe that thing in the background is Mogo getting shot by something.

Charlie, I believe the pink sphere in the picture is Solaris. Gunn is inspired by All Star Superman: I believe Solaris was one of the villains in All Star Superman. Solaris has injured Superman and have blocked the yellow sun while fighting Superman; this is wear the damage on suit came from. I see a green light striking Solaris in the picture as well. Superman may be injured and weaken from the first fight. Green Lantern and others are distracting Solaris while Superman recovers. Solaris is overcoming the other heroes and weakened, Clark Kent witnesses they need his help. They need Superman. ⭐️ In this picture, a weakened Superman is putting on his boots for round 2, he beaten and injured but he is preparing suit back up to fight Solaris, who is blocking the sun, all odds are against Clark but he is the beacon of hope; he is Superman. Now in this photo Superman is preparing to give his all to save the other heroes and the world.
