The way he is saying Licis is infuriating!
I think WSM could learn a lot from the way this competition is organized.

It's a shame that Mateusz lost only because of the deadlift while winning 4 of 5 events and even getting new world record

Mateusz was dominant here. Needed to improve his deadlift, one of the barometers of static strength.
The whole family went to ultimate strong uk last year. It was an incredible three days. Best sporting event i have ever been too. Thankyou Glen Ross. The daddy rules!
At last, a comp I can watch in full on YT. Thanks guys, this was great, hope the event goes from strength to strength BOOM BOOM
What a great event and I didn't even know this existed!
These events were absolutely brutal
Thanks for uploading this!! I love ultimate Strongman shows so much, they always look so well organized and fun
Thx for the upload never seen that flag event before. It could be interesting in a heavy medley too, like, fingal, flag, log and than anchor drag
Thanks for uploading this

Those stones being unvarnished made that event so much harder than it needed to be.
AMAZING
Wonder what made Licis compete for Latvia there? He normally competes under the stars and stripes Of the USA.
@beardedbjorn5520

Probably because they had 2 guys from the U.S. already. The Daddy likes to make it seem more international, he’s had a couple of guys from England compete for their parents countries before as well.
Glenn Ross has my body type Mateusz what I aspire to be

that's how you win comps tho, being strong overall
I absolutely adore the way the commentator pronounces Licis' name 😂 *In case you're wondering why: Licis himself pronounces his own name "Lee-Sis".*
I don't think I've seen Shivlykov compete when he wasn't hurt.
Insane to think men are lifting over half a ton these days. BigZ did it a few yrs back with hummer DL, Eddies unbelievable lift in traditional DL, followed by Thor. This WR... i mean however you do it, its half a ton mate. Crikey.
Anyone going to say anything about the flags being on the ground?

This commentator pronouncing the name of Martin Licis wrong all the time is getting on my nerves
@UnequalTemperament

Same with "Mateusz Kieliszkowski." Usually stuff like that bugs me, but it didn't so much this time -- maybe because the commentator (and everyone else) seemed so enthusiastic for the competitors and the event. But, yeah, a few minutes spent beforehand making sure that everyone on the mic knows the correct pronunciation of the competitors' names (same as any event where you're introducing people) would be well spent. Cool video and cool comp, though -- thoroughly enjoyed.

Maybe. Its alot harder doing them back to back verses having proper rest periods.
If Janashia would be rational and pull smoothly he may have been able to get more. But he’s more concerned about appearing strong than actually being strong. I can’t help but be upset looking at those nasty oil injections all over his upper body. You’re a strongman dude, you don’t need to appear to be strong you prove it in your job.
wtf is a hadge and why are you calling Janashia this word? LOL i kid
