A cure to immortality would infer negative connotations. If immortality did exist why would you want a cure for it?

can't get over how big the lads are, I still remember watching Shahlaei towering over everyone else 10 years ago, now he's the "normal sized" dude interviewing. Shahlaei was and is a great treasure for Strongman world

Shahlei is only 188cm. Not that tall for a strongman, even 10 years ago. Actually in 2013 both Thor and Brian Shaw competed, and both were taller than all of the guys here.

because it has women (you could say "because it has men" i suppose...but not so many fans of women's strongman out there). some people only enjoy competition among relative athletic equals and not group play.

Fantastic! My only suggestion would be that perhaps there should be a point for the fastest/best woman in each round and a point for the fastest/best man in each round rather than just one point for the best/fast person. Makes everything count even more that way.

It would be greatly beneficial if the weights of the lifted equipment were added to the screen during post-production. Thank you.

I don't think Iceland has many top strongwomen and with Eythor taking a break from strongman it's only just Hafthor and a few other amateur guys

My main reason to like strongman sports is because the athletes are all so nice to each other. Putting up a show, but friends in the end.

Hi, after the ladies completed their wrecking ball hold, there seems to be a jump in the accumulated time for USA team from 52 secs to 66 secs before the first man starts. Wonder why the addition of 14 secs?

@@dudeman8338 it isn't the 90s or early 2000s though. People have been moving away from cable for a decade now. WSM really needs to get with the times, or rather the owners of it need to figure out the ad revenue for streaming to upgrade into the 2020s with the rest of us.

Yeah it is quite odd that Eddie didn't do anything. Tom should have been team captain and they could have included anyone else on the GB team. You'd think they would implement a rule that says (barring injury) every athlete MUST compete in at least two events or something. Force the teams to be careful who they use for each event. Rather than just having Evan carry team USA.

Im all for strongman and woman earning more money .great event. Thanks to all . Just didnt understand the scoring. Like 4 points for 1 event

Why won't you say what the barbells in the deadlift weighs or the dumbbells in the press weighs? it kind of diminishes the guys performance by showing only the amount of reps when they are performing with a 60% heavier weight.

Has anyone else noticed, you never see Lucy Underdown and Graham Hicks in the same room at the same time???😁😁😁

i think its a bit unfair that Martin Licis is allowed to compete and Eddie Hall is not! Otherwise GB would have won, even with an Eddie Hall which lost over 30kg in the years after his WSM-Titel and 500kg Deadlift!
