STRIPPING THE ENGINE ON MY VW GOLF GTI!!

In today's video we start stripping the engine on my vw golf Gti as the cambelt snapped causing possible engine damage!

    Great video Dean, I would strip the head remove the valves replace the bent one's and lap them in. Extra content for your channel Dean, or send the head away to the machine shop and let them repair it for you. Christmas wishes to you and your family

    love this the same engine as my octavia vrs and my cam belt snapped few months ago after water pump leaked on it. Gives me a better understanding of what happened and how it was fixed.

    Merry Christmas Dean, yes like others have said I would just remove the two likely valves and turn the camshaft, pour some fluid and see if the other valves seal, replace the two bent one and all in, Happy New year mate and your family and thanks for the great content this year, cheers, andy.
