There's a country in the Middle East who practices incenst, and 90% of the population has schizophrenia. I don't remember, which country though.🤔 I think I will google the information.

Regarding this story, I personally can’t fathom how twisted this monster of a father married, impregnated & later murdered his very own daughter & the baby son! This really sickened me to the pit of my stomach 🤢🤮 and I find it utterly incomprehensible! Hell has a special place reserved for such a beast 👹

Go research this case it'll really make you sick because in the end she was trying to get away from she had written him a letter saying she wanted to end it and didn't want anything to do with him like that anymore and wanted him to stay away. Apparently that's what made him snap he did what he did to the baby here in North Carolina and then drove all night 12 hours to upstate New York and parked outside of the adoptive father's house and when they left to take her to work it is 7 in the morning they pulled out to a stoplight and that's when he shot them both. Witnesses at the scene said it was extremely gory and ugly scene and the thing is she was just young and naive everything I read about her she seemed like a nice girl she was a really good artist but yeah anyway, it's just a messed-up what this monster did taking advantage of her like that.

@Evelyn Matthew she was never "grown up" she was 16 when she married that monster, plus she was very naive it's said she was a loner in school in Connecticut then once he got her down here to North Carolina and isolated her he just took advantage of her and her naivety. Sick monster!!

I feel this poor girl may have also had some impaired thinking or brain damage due to her brain cells dying from lack of oxygen when her father locked her into the chest of wherever he stored her. He was a pure demon ,how could he ever think this was ok?

Sometimes it's not good to know about the unknown....better to not even want to know. a lot of times the reason you are not with biological parents are not good ones.

I'm familiar with this disgusting story but every time I hear about it again, it makes me want to🤮 Steven Plaidl was a sicko and it's hard to believe that Katie thought it was acceptable to marry her biological father. What totally blows my mind is the fact that nobody tried to stop the wedding. The adoptive parent and sicko's mom even attended. Blech!

Wow, what can you really say about this whole case - sad on so many levels, with the killings of the baby, Katy and her adopted dad. Sickening though that Steven Pladl practically groomed his daughter sexually, then to allow her to have his child knowing the possible problems that could arise due to it being father and daughter as parents. I personally think it was sickening and he really should have been jailed when he got the 15 year old pregnant (Katy’s mom). Simply unimaginable situation.

The Fusco's wanted Katie to make up her own mind and she messed up. The adopted father might have gone up to NY to take her home. I think maybe she wanted a divorce or to be separated from Stephen. I lived in the same neighborhood in North Carolina that Katie and Steven lived, I didn't know until after the fact but they lived one street over from me, it was the second house after Steven and Katie moved out of his ex-wife house it is the house where they found the baby. And you're right this case is unbelievable, dude was a straight up monster free I researched this whole case for like months I know everything about it, Katie had apparently been kind of a loner in school up in Connecticut before she came down in North Carolina and he just took full advantage of her and her naivety.The ex-wife notice first he started dressing different like younger with skinny jeans and like nicer shirts and cut his hair different and all that crap and then just sleeping in her room started. After the moved out and eventually got arrested I think that's what woke her up because they were both in serious trouble. It seemed after that she started trying you get her life together and got a job and was going to school couple nights a week and working on her art. Katie had actually written Steven a letter saying she didn't want anything to do with him anymore and essentially was leaving him and that's when he snapped. He did what he did to the baby here in North Carolina then he drove all night 11 hours to New York or Connecticut right there and parked outside of the adopted father's house. When they left at 7 in the morning to take Katie to work he followed them and they pulled up to a stoplight and that's when he shot them, witnesses said it was an extremely gory and ugly scene. From what I read about Katie she was trying to get away from it and trying to start her life over up in Connecticut and realized what she did was not right. It's just really sad man because she was young and apparently just made some really bad choices but then again I think her being so naive he pressured her, and from what I saw she did seem to be really smart but immature and she was a really good artist and painter, but anyway just sad all around.. Kind of surprised it took you this long to cover this one..

Why in the world can anyone hurt an innocent child. Regardless of how this baby was conceived, it was an innocent precious baby and didn't deserve to be killed. It's all just so pointless and sad.

I'm thinking unmarked graves, too. There was a little girl who was murd3red in my hometown 20+ years ago, and she was buried in the local cemetery, but sites like findagrave don't have any info on where she's buried (or even if she was buried) - I'm guessing because of the sensitivity of the whole case. The only truly innocent people in this story who made it out alive were the younger Pldal daughters. I get Katie was an adult, but I can't figure out how her adoptive parents just said "whatever makes her happy" when she married this sick fck.
