Stealth Camping In Roundabout

I finally found the perfect roundabout to crawl into and go camping for the night. It was a very stealthy spot, and I've looked long and hard to find one like this. It was a typical night of hiding, drinking beer, and being quiet, but it was exciting as always. Overall a good camping trip, but I did find it a bit noisy of a night so likely wouldn't camp there again.

People are laughing at his anxiety, I am too, I have these thoughts all the time. But this guy is an absolute genius, he thinks of every little detail and everything that could go wrong even if it doesn’t.

Yay! Camping With Steve! Hey man, this was the first video of yours I stumbled upon, last year. Go KZread. When is saw ROUNDABOUT on the screen I laughed my butts off, me and my best friend started doing stuff like this when we were twelve, and a roundabout was the first, and favorite place. Being as close to humanity as possible without anyone knowing instills this strangely powerful feeling. Like a nervous confident giddiness, you know the feeling. Anyhoo, at the end you actually said “everyone’s childhood dream come true, ROUNDABOUT”, so touching and humorous to a fellow pea in the pod. Probably my favorite video just based on the location itself. Ok, I, and everyone who subscribes, loves your sense of humor, your politeness, and general mannerisms, moral code of following the rules while bending the piss out of them, you’re a riot, and we love you. Also, your soothing radio voice simply makes it a pleasure to have on the tv. If just one or two high ranking politicians from each country were like you, we’d have no worries for the future. I really enjoyed this. A year ago or so I got into Vagrant Holiday videos where a dude essentially visits a bunch of countries without spending much at all by camping in the wild and unseen places. I'm glad I found a similar channel. I've been interested in survival since I was a kid. I grew up watching survival shows, primarily Survivorman. My dad and I camped a lot and I learned how to make a fire several ways without a blowtorch or lighter. I'm not in very good shape due to an injury that prevents me from being very mobile, so I'm happy I can still live vicariously through videos like these. Plus, I probably wouldn't have the guts to camp in a place like this.
I love the editing and style of this video. So many other KZreadrs would try to overhype this and make it way more intense and therefore less genuine

Hi Steve. I find it amazing that the people that post negative and mean comments really don't understand the concept of the channel Camping with Steve. Steve is not homeless, he works has a home and family and friends. His youtube channel just grew because of his simplicity of Camping Camping the way he does
Buddy went through the trouble to make himself look like a city worker yet he's carrying around a camera while climbing into a roundabout lol. Gotta love Steve

It is goof they thought about safety in Canada, and placed balders around the roundabouts. In hungary people used to regularly drive on the roundabouts while they were speaking, and broke down at the centre after they hit few poles, I have seen it at least twice.

Oh come on... I wanna stealth camp aswell so badly now. You sir unlocked a core memory. This takes me back to my childhood : playing games in bushes and forest and stuff. Hiding from nothing but imaginary dange whatever it was. Feeling safe and cosy as long as we would take cover in what was a natural shelter. Of course, I wanna do that again ! That's awesome. Also being a responsible adult sucks.

This reminds me of the time I was hitch hiking through Europe! But for all the great monuments and people I met. The thing I remember the most, was stealth-camping alone in Germany, Italy. Every morning I had this immense felling of gratitude of being alive! The sunrise is never as beautiful as after stealth-camping🙏🙏🙏
I once read a story as a kid about a man who lived like Robinson Crusoe on a roundabout, all straggly hair and torn clothes - the traffic was so busy he could never get off it. The middle of it was like a lost world, strange animals and religious artefacts. Wish I could remember what it was called...

The reflective vests are actually probably the perfect way to hide in plain sight. Sure, you're more visible. But to myself and I'm sure many other people, if I see someone in a reflective vest, I generally just assume they're there on some kind of official business.

In 20 years of trades work, I can tell you that you can put on high-visibility coveralls, steel-toed boots, a shoulder-slung toolbag, and carry a clipboard, and if you're acting like you're actively looking at things(following pipes on the ceiling, or pausing to inspect lights/hydrants/etc.), people just assume that you belong and don't question you.

Success! That looked like fun! Glad you had a good night sleeping in a roundabout. I’ve often thought about hunkering down in the landscaped bushes and growth that cites have at interstate off/on ramps. I’ve noticed some thick lush bushes etc in a lot of places like that. It always seems best if there’s an overpass. 😊
Stealth tip; try to just clack the very right corner of the can seal and get as much air out. Then, use your thumb and push down moving from the corner you clacked the rest of the way. Get some kinks out so they don't randomly do that clang sound, and enjoy! Cheers. Love your videos.
The fact that you can get away with stuff like this is a perfect illustration of how everyone around us is paying way less attention to us than we usually think, especially if you're anxious! Honestly it's kind of reassuring.
