McDonalds Drive-Thru Stealth Camping
I stealth camped behind a #McDonalds drive through last night! I have been looking for a camping spot like this for years. I wanted to do a drive-thru but for some reason (probably safety) they seem to always be clear around with no hiding spots. After years of searching and looking at every Google satellite view, I could find I found my dream McDonalds #camping spot.

If there's one thing I learned from Steve is to be happy with the little things in life. Can't see the little stealth camp from street? Happiness. Cook a nice meal out in the open? Happiness. Get a ride to a camping spot and getting picked up after? Happiness. Light rain only? Happiness. As Steve would say: Doesn't get better than this! Love it.

A tip... Spray the bug spray on a sheet wipe and wipe any part of your body you can reach especially on your face. You can keep the spray out of your eyes a lot easier. A lot of the spray which you just spray on yourself just goes in the air. You can reuse the sheet wipes until they either get dirty or fall apart.

I think your concern at the end is unwarranted, whether your videos are late, or your videos are "boring" (they're never boring), or even if they're just videos of you silently reading, we'd still be here waiting to watch and share in the adventures with you. You're the big grown-up kid we all want to be, just out there enjoying the simple things and creating an infectious environment of kindness and connection in your comments section / community following. @@dakotaellis9978 Absolutely, I don't even see it as a full fledged camping channel, it's more like a way for us to hang out with Steve every week - It just so happens we hang out at campsites (Or sometimes in shrubs and bushes, wrapped in trashbags, during a thunderstorm). Between him and his English equivalent Kent Survival, it's just endlessly peaceful. genuinely feels like you're just off with your friend - I just wish the videos were longer. I'd happily sit and watch a 30-40 minute video here. Also it would be awesome to see Steve and KS do a collab, but I do fear the serenity may achieve ultimate enlightenment and Steve will transcend us all.

This is the gold I subscribe and watch for after all these years. Awesome
The slating of the spelling of "Drive-Thru" was the main reason I smashed the like button. Fabulous video thanks.
Im working a 9-5 retail job that due to short staff has been killing my energy for the past few years even getting into my private life, wasnt even granted a day off for funerals or other stuff. After some rough months sometimes only these videos keep me positive and male me enjoy alltje little things in life. Thank you for that steve!

Seeing Steve smile warms the heart. But the downside is now we all know the bushes behind the drive-thru May conceal a stealth man 👀
I don’t watch for the scenery. I watch because it’s you and your experiences. Thanks for what you do.
8:58 love that part! I am glued to this episode
I feel like Steve finding a good stealth camping spot is the equivalent of an angler finding a good fishing spot. What a great feeling.
Steve, you are an inspiration to all of us stealth camping enthusiasts. You are the original that we all follow.
I love the look in your eyes when you say how perfect your spot is. I could feel it thru the lens!!
There is something so innocent and pure about this content.
At this point, whenever I see a nice stealth camping spot, I assume Steve is already in it.

We all do. Steve is always only a patch of woods away.
Every time you show a drive-thru, I can't get over how friendly people sound in Canada. I'm always amazed at your bravery.
Steve the joy and excitement you had at this spot was contagious. Keep on keeping on brother. Glad you found a primo spot.
I like that cozy forest. Perfect for stealth camping and food nearby! Perfect!
8:10 "There's a really creepy guy just sitting parked there in his car and he's been there for a while... But who am I to talk? I'm sitting in the bush with a camera" lol Steve, never change 😂

Love your videos! I was watching the Walmart parking lot Napier tent video this morning and saw your meal. It looked very good so I went to the store and bought all the ingredients and made it for dinner for the family. Awesome dinner!! Thanks for all your efforts in putting out quality, wholesome content.
I love how steve tries to be so careful opening his beer as if anyone can actually hear it haha

Hi have been watching you for about 2 weeks and just subscribed to your channel. I am 77 and use to camp all the time. Love it and miss it. I have arthritis in my spine and knee. I have a lot of camping equipment in haven’t used since 2015 in Muskegon, MI. I am living again watching you camp. If I ever get the $$ and could afford a camper I would be out camping again but my 1 st love is tent camping but too hard to get down on an air bed etc. cheers. Love watching your camping shows.
Nothing better than eating some McDonald's while watching Steve camp behind a McDonald's.

What is a Big Mac taco? Is it something on their menu? I never heard of it. Also baffled how he had to order the Big Mac sauce separately? (Extra plastic container waste and extra $, why they not just put it ON the Big Mac.) it’s been a while since I’ve been to MCDONALDS.

Steve Wallis, coming to a theater, motel, forest, roundabout, sign, or woods near you!!! You will never know where Steve will camp next! He could be right next to you without you even knowing! Haha, great to see you keeping your positivity up high even through the very tough times you’ve been in. Cheers Steve, to another adventure.

We need to make a bunch of life-sized standees of Steve crouching by a camp stove and put them all over the country behind signs, under bushes, in the woods, between dumpsters, etc. That way if someone actually sees him they'll think it's just another cardboard cutout.
Camping with Steve videos always make my day better 😄
Amazing spot!! Great video Steve! Thanks for the share!
I always need to eat before watching Camping w/ Steve because he cooks better looking meals on a camping stove than I eat at home.
you may think some of your videos are boring but for those of us who aren't able to get out and about as much as we'd like, your videos are very enjoyable. Thank you.
This was enjoyable to watch. Another great video Steve ☺️
Your never-ending varieties of step twos says a lot. Each one is an adventure in its own right.
Always remember: no matter where you are, whether it’s a public place or deep in the woods, Steve may be watching!

Love watching your videos, been watching old ones too multiple times. They give me a feeling of comfort lately since I’ve been feeling lousy. Don’t forget to stealth camp Burger King now!
Back in the 80s my elementary school was next door to a McDonalds, with woods behind both. We'd play in those woods behind both all the time. Thanks for bringing back some memories Steve!
