Welcome Sign Stealth Camping
This is the official launch of the new #merch store, there are some new designs some classic ones and they're doing a limited time free shipping promotion for me when you get 2 or more apparel items!
Anyways, all that aside I went stealth camping in a small plot of trees behind a welcome sign. I've been trying to camp behind this sign for quite some time and finally, the timing and weather worked out for me! Was a decent night, road noise is expected of course but it made for an interesting night!

11:59 I’m a paramedic currently sitting in an ambulance watching this at 5 in the morning, toward the end of my night shift. Your videos are calming, they really help break the chaos of working as a first responder. Thanks for the shoutout. “Remember that it is a privilege, not a right, to be there for someone who is experiencing perhaps the worst moment of their life.”

I used to live near an ambulance hub, (Depot?) every time I heard the sirens I said a prayer for them. Basically asking God to protect the workers, and to give them skill, and traveling mercies to arrive at the scene and hospital safely. And of course for the one/s who needed the urgent aid that they would be able to get the help and care that was needed. Now I live closer to the hospital because of my medical needs, but still hear them in the distance. Recently I have been blessed and owe my life to an ambulance team that I have no idea who they were or what they looked like when getting hit with acute adrenal failure. I couldn't see even with my eyes open and they had to hassle me to respond in the smallest way. It was only a 2 mile ride, but they got me into the ER all prepped and ready to get emergency medicine pumped right in, on time. I was able to walk away from the hospital 6 days later with no permanent damage. So thank you very much for your hard work, and I hope that you know that you are loved. Statistically it's impossible to save everyone, but you do so much good for the many people you are able to save and help. You and your co-workers are a blessing to others in need. May you enjoy rest and relaxation on your down time, and be able to take care of yourself.

Hey Steve! Thanks for the shout-out to first responders. I'm a 911 dispatcher and love to watch your videos during downtime on night shift. My whole job consists of listening to people in their worst moments (relatives dying, witnessing cardiac arrests and giving them cpr instructions, drug overdoses, car accidents, domestic violence, shootings, etc.). But we also take a lot of abuse. When someone doesn't do their job correctly, we get cussed out and abused. We get tons of prank calls. We get treated like scum by police officers, EMS, and fire fighters. I've been doing this for 7 years and the world is getting worse and worse every day. Your explanation of the learning curve is spot on! Every new camper or even army recruit packs so much stuff, that they end up not really enjoying a lot of it, because they end up exhausted and having to search that seemingly bottomless backpack. Over time you learn to pack a bare minimum, which will you through 99% of situations. My list for roughly a week: - Sleeping bag (non-compressed because it's connected to a bivi) - Sleeping mat (Very light, just meant as a water barrier) - Underwear - Socks (extras) - Tarp - 15m paracord This is it really... I've slept like a baby through hurricane weather with that kit. I live in a temperate climate, it's wet constantly... But the bivi is optional, it's just an easy solution to the water problem - saves me time and allows me to stay dry on lower ground. But to each their own, some pack like mules - which is fine, we all enjoy different things.

I also have the feeling this will last a lifetime. I truly hope you will one day reach something similar man. It is what you deserve for doing through hard times

@@nicern_lp_rp_gtrxxx5420 thank you for giving inspiration and keeping the hope alive. Day by day man, I will get there!! It’s awesome people like you in these communities who help me and I’ll always try to pay it forward. Enjoy your weekend brother 🤘
I love your videos, Steve. I've been catching up for a couple weeks now. I see you've been through some terrible losses within the last year. I'm glad you're continuing on doing what you love. It is incredibly wholesome and your videos are such a pleasure to watch!
I love that he showed himself running back for the camera at the end
Honestly, seeing that you posted a video causes a warmth in my chest and makes me smile. Can't wait to see you hunker down
Yay! It's a great day when Steve uploads a new video!
No one even comes close to the stealth camping videos like Steve. Simply the best!

Love the frog songs to lull you to sleep!! Looks like another great steal camping episode thanks for sharing Steve.
I just want to say thank you for your content….when my husband left me alone during a high risk pregnancy you and foresty Forrest got me through the hours of bed rest…I felt like I was there and didn’t cry…my now 19 month old healthy beautiful daughter and I thank you from our hearts💜
Whenever I drive past a sign on a Canadian highway, I wonder if Steve is behind it camping 😂
Haha, I’m 57 and fondly remember when I skipped the first 2 weeks of 5th grade and spent my days in a small empty lot with small trees and brush building a shelter and even had small campfires. Smoking cigarettes that I stole from my stepmother. Lol. And the lot was right across the street from the school. I would walk with other kids to school, they all crossed the street going left and I would go right.
it IS neat that your hoodie zips onto your jacket!
Steve cooking enough food for 5 people is probably one of my favourite things about his videos. Never fails to make me grin (plus how does he always make it look so good??)

Although it is funny is some way, on the other hand you may ask why he would be spilling so much factory produced food? Don’t get me wrong I am a big fan.

One time he made too much rice, beans, and cheese and then proceeded to make burritos until the sun went down (or that's how it appeared because he was eating them and then the next thing we saw was him walking back to his camp in the dark) and I couldn't stop laughing at the thought of him accidentally making enough small burritos to feed a family of 5 lol. They looked so delicious!!!

I have clicked on so much garbage on KZread recently that my main feed is cluttered with it. Luckily I found a Steve video and now I can relax. Thanks Steve, I know some of your spots can be stressful for you with road noise or possibly getting caught, but it's extremely relaxing for us viewers ❤
Ahhhh, Steve Wallis, the Bob Ross of Camping👍
Every time an ambulance goes past I do the exact same. Just hoping that who ever they’re calling on is going to be ok
Hey Steve hope you are having a better day. You bring so much entertainment to everyone and you make so many people happy. I hope reminding yourself of this makes the bad days a little less bad. Much love.
This video was fun to watch. I also love the fact that you clean up after you stay places.
There is no sweeter man alive than Steve. Such a heart warming and entertaining channel.
Steve, I'm going through a VERY rough patch in my life and I gotta thank you for bringing me a small chunk of happiness with your videos. It a really odd way, I find it very calming. Thank you for taking us on your camping adventures.

I’m going to save up and get a camping with Steve shirt!! My husbands name is Steve . And we love camping . So it’s a double meaning for me ! 😂 ❤❤
Steve, You have mastered the "false sense of confidence" 😅, and you inspire so many to go forth and be stealthy!!
“My hoodie will zip onto my jacket” is probably my new favorite camping with Steve quote.
