It was really cool how from this point forward you saw Wedge's story of what the rebel alliance was doing between ESB and RotJ

This game was so ahead of it's time that it looked more like an Xbox 360 game than a Gamecube game.

which is sadly to it's detriment for emulation, due to a quirk of the system it's always been bad for emulating, I don't know if it was ever fixed fully.

Always use to fly between the legs of the Walker's in cockpit view while shooting a burst of laser fire at them, just like in the movie.

i am glad you played as wedge the most in this game especially since he was voiced by his movie actor dennis lawson that was one of the best selling points of the game to have him voice wedge 21 years after empire strikes back was released i wish they would release this for the ps4 it would be a buy for sure

This game is old enough to buy cigarettes and die for its country...and it still looks incredible.

Factor 5 is long gone and since EA has 100% exclusive on Star Wars, we won't see a Rogue Squadron 4.

This sure beats the last game's rendition, all while the next game failed to top this in their own Hoth mission (although it's nice to see the aftermath of this very mission in Rebel Strike).

I love over powdered the snow speeders canons are.😅

I remember when I first played this level and I couldn’t figure out how to use the damn Toe cable 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️😂I had to play this level over countless times just for that reason alone ...

The Rogue Squadron games and Shadows of the Empire are the only games where I know how to use it. I never could figure it out in any of the Battlefront games, old or new. Especially Battlefront II 2005, where the camera switches to the gunner view which makes steering confusing as hell.

Yet half of them the cables slip off their legs yet they still fall over

I never had the chance to play 2 or 3, purchased Rogue Squadron 3D from @t with other oldies I love and again play, I tried all the Emulators offered, including Dolphin Emulator none worked, Battle for Naboo can't be played either, new tech is great but sucks to, thanks for a chance to see game play

The Nintendo 64 Star Wars games are playable on the latest version of Mupen 64.

This, but there was a remake of this game on a more recent console, with the added story of the newer films. That would be really nice *cough* Disney*cough*

Star Wars needs a more open-minded publisher than EA. There was a time when they were saying single player gaming was obsolete.

Figured it out just press b when near them but give it a few seconds before your start looping lol, I'm on the cube right now also digged out the gba attachment

Why do those last two walkers fall to the side and not forward when the speeder's tow cable is wrapped around their legs completely?

Now go for the Platinum! then try geting gold medal on this mission but on Rebel Strike co-op mode playing you alone, not an easy task but beleve me it feels great!! I miss my GC :(

I hope Nintendo and EA make a deal to bring back Rogue Squadron now on NX (but first we need to know what's that xD) just thinking about it makes me °¬° All Rogue Squadron Missions + new Missions with the visuals of Battlefront as exclusive for NX

Sammy Aran if you softmod the vWii on your Wii U, you can natively play GameCube games on it using Nintendont. It's what I do.

This raises a question. Why didn't Rogue Squadron use X-Wings against the Walkers? The Proton Torpedoes (Which are powerful enough to Affect Star Destroyers) Would down those Walkers in 1 hit.

Because they were helping transports get off planet and because the Alliance wasn't trying to win, they were just stalling the enemy.

They had a limited number available as well. Remember that it was either one or two X-wings per transport.

For one, they often steal your kills, and that costs you a chance of getting a gold medal.

Is there a reason why you always keep your wing men out of the battle?

Press the B button when near the feet.

The Legs aren’t the AT-AT’s weak point aim for the neck that connects the cockpit to the body.

Skip cut scenes they use game time for the platinum

To prevent losing them, losing friendlies counts against you for some gold medals.
