It actually isn't hard. I don't know if you played it and I know this is years later, but this games ain't was inferior to rogue leaders. The tie fights would spawn as you turned and would line of for you to shoot them.

'Star Wars: Squadrons' is an upcoming game not developed by DICE, but it does use DICE's Frostbite engine.

Growing up I always enjoyed disabling the ties too and watching them drift aimlessly.

The B-Wing is hands-down my favorite Rebel fighter.

...wow. Abandoning a B-Wing - one of the most expensive fighters for the Rebels - to get a TIE Bomber. I mean if it was a Lambda shuttle, I could kinda see that, but...wow.

+Kepora1 Well he did say that the B-Wing wouldn't be able to carry them both. That's why he got the TIE Bomber. It has a two-seat cockpit in it. Plus, you can't say that you never wanted to fire missiles and drop bombs on the Empire with one of their own ships...

The Rebels had other Fighters in the area. Probably towed the B-Wing back to the overall Fleet. Plus by late 3 ABY the Rebellion while severely defeated after Hoth was in no way low on resources or war material. They wouldn't send out Fighters at all if they were too expensive to replace.

@@scottjohnson3903 I did the tie bomber mission with the Y wing and it’s pretty much the same cutscene but the Y wing exchanging for the tie bomber

I like how the voice actor sounds like james earl jones. A spot on Darth Vader voice.

His Accuracy is like that of A WELL SEASONED JEDI KNIGHT . 😱😱😱🤯🤯😳😳😳😂😁💪👍❤️❤️ .

I just unlocked the Tie Bomber :D Love using it but the only drawback is its shields don't recharge. If it had the same regenerative capabilities as the Y-Wing it would be awesome to use on just about any mission!!

I’ve never seen this second phase of gameplay, I’ve always seen the secret weapon ship destroy a transport and then that was the end of the mission.

And it was with this mission at age 8 that I fell in love with the B-Wing!

I played this game for years and thought I had seen everything there was to see in this game. But I almost crapped myself when a different cutscene played at the end of the level.

@@aerodactical2239 I always thought that was a weird thing. The TIE bombers in the first Rogue Squadron game could shoot with lasers, but the next couple games they couldn't.

I remembered playing that "Tie Bomber" mission 3 times years ago, and I enjoyed it.

Now I want a TIE Bomber... firing nothing but missiles and bombs on Imperials... looks like fun.

See for some reason whenever I played this level it only let me play the part where you were disabling the transports. I never got to play the part with the TIE bomber, it even showed the part on the menu screen when you selected the level!

The GameCube's internal clock must be on night hours in order to trigger the TIE Bomber sequence.

It’s actually not that. It has to do with the amount of score that you’ve gotten. You have to be Silver minimum to get the TIE Bomber. Otherwise you stay as the B-Wing

This is awesome, I always wondered how to get the secret ending to this mision

Completely forgot about the second part of this mission. I only recall disabling the transports, and then the Escort Carrier appearing. Mad.

And because Disney are fucking assholes since Lucasarts is now reduced to ten people and all they do is keep track of their library and EA gets exclusive rights to Star Wars, they will never make a Rogue Squadron 4.

What is the purpose of shooting allies transports ?

This one made me remember how I could never get any good accuracy rating with the controller aim

I could never get the ace medal for this level, I was always so close yet I was off time by a few seconds or I was missing a few enemies.

Do you just unlock the tie bomber for multiplayer? I have been at it for hours and haven't gotten the tie bomber for single player. I can't find any videos showing it being used in single player so I'm beginning to think it's just a multiplayer thing

So what is the trigger to go planetside to rescue Hobbie? I've only done it once. Otherwise it just skips to the end of the mission.

Replace the mission after you have a silver medal.

This may be a stupid question but how do you switch between using the Ion Cannons and the Lock On Missiles? Every time I try to hold the B button it activates the Ion Cannons crosshair and when I press the B button it just shoots without locking on.

Achieve Silver medal requirements during the first part, then while flying the TIE Bomber, shoot the ground turrets using missiles.

To get to the Tie Bomber Segment, the first two rebel transport have to survive. Next, the third imperial transport must be disabled before the second rebel transport is about leave with the prisoners.

bernard Li You need to qualify for a silver medal while doing that. You may not be getting enough kills or your shot accuracy might be off.

Tris Blackshaw Most were converted into the Resistance troop transports seen in “The Force Awakens”. If you compare a B-wing with it’s S-foils closed to the Resistance troop transports in TFA you can see the similarities.

The BTL-B from the Republic days was a 2 seater. This is a BTL-A4 which are single seaters.

Yoshio Sato Canon or non-canon the TIE Hunter is one of the most badass starfighters in the history of the “Star Wars” franchise. Turbo-fast rate of blaster fire, ion cannon, seeker missiles, s-foils and a design that looks even deadlier and more aggressive than any other TIE variant to date. Whoever created it for this game is a genius.

Looks like they stole a photo of Europa for the background planet.

its a shame they couldnt get dennis lawson back to voice wedge with chris cox voicing wedge it changes character completely hell most of the lines of dialogue sound awful like most of it is copy paste from same missions in the game and more its like not much care went into this game

"yes my master, he is resourceful" -- wat. even as a kid I went 'wat?' it never made any damn sense given the dialogue. then again, this game was rushed, and it shows. still, fun game, if a bit too easy compared to the others, with superfluous ground combat that didn't really... work [it's just janky dangit.] but hey, you get to play around in an ATAT, which is probably a series first for star wars in general.

im not sure if u saw this but this mission shows tie bomber game-play, does anyone know why or was that just a flaw that wasn't ever addressed
