Oh my god, it's been so long since I've played this. Makes me feel really old. I remember not knowing how to use the cable so I just kamikaze'd into the At-Ats. In hindsight, that was rather hilarious.

I used to play this game all the time and I didn't know a thing about Star Wars then and I wasn't able to figure out what to do. And that skinny robot scared the shit out of me then. And now when I see the Hoth scene when watching the movie, I get a feeling of nostalgia from playing this level 80% of the time in my childhood. Good ol' days.

This was the first game I ever played on the N64 at 12 years of age, an iconic moment of my childhood seeing this level of detail in a game for the first time. My only experience of real 3D before to this game was Mechwarrior 2. This game was poorly rated simply due to the poor control systems of the bike chase level and the large amounts of fog in the first person shooter levels. It's highly underrated because it was one of the first games which married a variety of gameplay elements.

For some reason I always thought when they developed this game, they tried to make it so it would seem like a 3D version of the Super Star Wars games for the SNES. i have really mixed "nostalgic" feelings of this game. Not sure how to explain it, on one part, i really enjoy seeing scenes such as these, but also, i can wake up screaming and sweating remembering this game. ... I think it has to do with the blurry graphics, and "violent" sounds. It really F up my mind. I've never experienced that, with anything else i think. Especially the junkyard level, the memories horrify me. I was round 10-11 i think when i played this.

i loved it and despised it bc it was so damn hard lmao -_-
Just waiting on the day this becomes available for download on the Wii.
@quhp In the Star Wars video game review. He talked about it briefly though.
@Actimus123 yes i too have bad memories of the Junkyard level
The level that inspired Rogue Squadron!
I played so much of this shit in my childhood and enjoyed it. I sucked at the game though.
What is being said from 00:05 to 00:07 when that Imperial Viper Droid appears on screen? It makes me so mad that I can't figure it out. Thanks for the help. Awesome game btw. I was 6 when I got this game in 1997. Brings back many memories.

that's an Imperial Probe droid and it's secure communication language. it's unintelligible like most other droid languages in star wars.
i always used to take the at-at's out with lasers LOL
why isnt this game on virtualconsole? i wanted so baldy to play this game on wii... :(
Dam dude reminds me when I was 8, idk if it was me or if anybody could do it I could tie the at at from different camera angles. Biggest achievement of mines when they didn't have achievements for games lol
i have really mixed "nostalgic" feelings of this game. I was round 10-11 i think when i played this.
i see where battlefront series got its insperation
I just bought this game and wanted to see what I will be playing.
