I admired the background on your lifting history as I found it very relatable. I started lifting at my neighbors house because they had a home gym. This was roughly back in 2013 which is hard to imagine was 11 years ago 😳. I remember carrying the weights and barbell outside and since we didn’t have a rack, the two friends I lifted with would put the weight in my back for squats and we would do a whole bunch of full body compound movements. We would even blast shinedown, nickelback, creed, and evanescence. What’s even cooler is that is that this is back in the OG days when sixpackshortcuts and Scott Herman were the big influencers. Time flies guys, start working today!
Really like this video just with you talking more about your life and early gym experience. Pretty cool stuff especially cause of how far you’ve come
I fr am starting to do cardio now, 25-30 mins after a lift
Thank you for the video Sam.
Hey Sam! Just wanted to say 2 things. One keep up the great work you are doing! You’re doing great and looking great so keep it up man 💪 two thanks for inspiring me and many others. You are one of many people who have inspired me to start my own KZread channel and make my own videos and put my workouts in my videos so thank you for the inspiration! Much love man
Love your videos 🙏 you are such an inspiration thank you 💪
He's absolutely right y'all. listen to this man. after tracking my protein and carb intake my weight started increasing and so did my strength.
Thanks for sharing Sam
Loving cardio ever since I started the cut a few months ago. I like switching between the 2 different seated bikes at my gym and I enjoy doing some incline treadmill.

Doesn’t get any better, hitting cardio and this gem drops 😂
Hey Sam, I really enjoy your videos-they're great! I was thinking it could be cool if you occasionally filmed some special content, perhaps when you're traveling or engaged in different activities. It would add a unique twist and give us a glimpse into new experiences alongside you. Keep up the awesome work!
do you recommend doing cardio before eating? I try to do it after my workouts (before on ab days) but now that summer is approaching I’m debating on going for a jog before breakfast
I did push, cardio, and abs today. Ive noticed a huge difference since cutting down, mostly because of cardio. Its easier to do my workouts now because ive got more endurance. I have an active job but i was still pretty out of shape when i incorporated cardio back in

My key take away from this video is the amount of tension I put on the weight. 8 reps with the necessary amount of weight for me to hit failure. I like how you told us your doing arms tomorrow so we can go do them too and motivate ourselves by saying sams doing arms today too. lets all do arms tomorrow!
man im really sick rn im like dying but im watching this video to keep me awake and motivated ty sam >3 btw this took me 5 mins to write it lol
Get your cardio IN💪
Love the vids Sam. Down for a vid of just meal examples. 2500/cals 3000/cals Etc Opinion on reverse dieting vs jumping to maintenance. Obviously gear plays a factor but it’d be cool to hear your opinion on that.
I sure do love Sam talking directly into my left ear
My home gym is 2 10lb dumbells. I noticed my strength has dropped off, and I can't lift as much. However, the physique is still mostly all there. Understanding Intensity has saved me so much hassle.
Cardio can be therapeutic! Do the cardio!
Good work love you man
When I workout twice it feels good
Hell yeah Bro ! philosophical car talks with the gentle giant !
It was interesting to hear your story of how you started to weight train.
I value your info. I respect your candor. I admire your consistency. I'm thankful that you share this with the world, Big Bro!
driving and talking is his cardio for the day.
So what would be a good roaster to start on, like 4 days a week, mon: back, tues: arms ect
Sam do you think there is a downside to switching exercises every workout, or as long as I hit specific muscle parts till failure, it doesn't matter
my left ear loved the car talk

Cheers man i love my scrappy home gym lots of weights hell i used truck rotors aswell got them free . Cable set ups im good built my home gym during covid and i love it ..cheers big dog
Really enjoyed hearing about your gym origin story Sam. You are a very amazing guy---love your videos!!
Sam you got to remember bodybuilding is about light weight and high reps and push ups and most of calisthenics is perfect for endless hypertrophy as compared to heavy weights. You can get a big chest with repping 135 like a madman cause that's all you have, same as the calisthenics guys in New York with freak chests and backs because of how deep they hypertrophy their chest and back from so much push ups and pull ups as compared to heavy weight and less reps. Hypertrophy is all about ripping that sucker to pieces and when paired with a carb and protein surplus means muscle growth always
As a huge NASCAR and racing fan in general, I loved that comparison early in the vid
@williamsimpson8115

A better comparison would be to say you have a higher octane fuel (higher red blood cell count ) and a more efficient fuel system / bigger fuel pump (stronger heart)
love u sam

Love the guy, just wish he would talk about the steroid use, nothing wrong with it but it would be nice to be more informative to the impressionable people that are watching and that don't know any better and will think that this type of body is achievable naturally

I love these videos so much. Just chilling, hearing about your thoughts and how you go about things. It really helps with my own thoughts, I’m not necessarily studying fitness, I’m just going to the gym 6 days a week, getting my protein and trying my best that’s it. Really nice to hear about fitness from a normal person that doesn’t have a bachelors in nutrition

Sam is the big brother most of us dont have.
My girl Audra Marie Farley and I watching these together my boy!
I'd love to see Sam do some gymnastics on a video, just for fun. However, I know people say this under others' videos that use Sam's content, but I have to say that I, too, am worried about his health, considering the enhancements he may be using. He's young so his body can take on a lot but I worry it might become to be too much. He seems like such an easy-going, sweet, and considerate man. I wish him all the best and I understand he has A LOT on his plate, meaning lots of pressure too ofc, but working out is supposed to be about health. We're losing sight of that in this industry. Taking any sport too far will result in bad health and injuries. I hope Sam is surrounded by good and sincere people and I hope he prioritises his health above all else.
Yessir!!!
Confirmed - Sam is a solid sweat driver.
Doing cardio while watching this
Cardio isn't fun but neither is life sometimes. I hit my 3rd best 5k time today, 30m20s. 😤
I only got an 8 pound dumbells and a gas tank I got a bench too n that's what I work with
What do you do for cardio?
What do you drive ? is it a Honda ?
Cardio time
Don’t listen to the media or anyone who says cardio will your gains. It will if you dont lift heavy weights. Hard Cardio makes your mind stronger
