I would add that you can select the text by highlighting it with the mouse select or CTRL-A and then modify the text sizing, color, font options if you need to make additional changes after typing in and getting text fitment right on the screen. TLDR You can select the text and change the options at any time, just need to make sure that you have the text selected. Keep up the good work Pete!

Thank you. This is the best tutorial for scrolling text on an image that I have seen. NOW, I really need to drag my text clip [time stretch], another 10 seconds. As you know, Vegas has a limit of how far we can stretch. Will you help with that? Thanks

I do think you have the best voice clarity and picture clarity for a beginner. However, although I followed everything from typing the end titles, size and centering, and I added the plus and pulled the titles down to the middle of the bar as you suggest, then I followed the next step, pulling the text back up, but it didn't scroll. Somewhere in the last section it's not clear enough. because your mouse is so small you can't see it. I played it over and over. Will try again tomorrow.

You do not explain how to get to the Legacy Text. I just searched MS14 and can't find it. Then it goes downhill.

If you could help, I need to make a video where text scrolls from left to right...just once. They all scroll multiple times, at least twice. If I shorten the segment, it scrolls by faster, if I lengthen the segment it goes slower...but always still twice. I even took it off “loop” in properties. Any advice?

Is there a limit to how far you can stretch? Perhaps that's what was wrong. I stretched it for 20 seconds.
