  That is not the high end Case from Cordoba. That's a gig bag. And you are using the wrong amp to demo. To get the true sound and tone of the guitar you should play it with NO amp. And to get the true tone of a electric guitar you play through a good amp with NO effects. The amp is the reason it sounds like crap. You have no idea what is worth.

  WARNING!!!! I just bought this guitar online. And I just received it yesterday. In my 46 yers on this earth I've never played a worst guitar in my life. I'm not even joking. A bet you could pick up a way better guitar from the pawn shop better then this piece of trash. I feel insulted that this was sent to me. When you guitar is perfectly in tune, it's way out at the 12 fret & up. Only 12 fret harmonics work. It must take a lot of work to make something so bad. This guitar isn't worth a hundred dollars, which makes this a crime

  The old days of dropping your high HP engine into a second hand car that had a for sale sign in the window. The son's and grandson's of white lightning runner learned how to go fast. 162 MPH won the race, 159 came in second! Wonderful film footage. From My Friend Pete! Thanks.

  Video is from practice for the 1967 Riverside 500. #14 may be Jerry Grant - had #04 in the race, #31 Don White, #115 is Parnelli Jones. #9 is Roy Tyner. #14 blue is not Bobby Allison but Jim Paschal, #43 is Richard Petty and that font 43 was in 1967 Riverside _ I have several photos. #41 is not on the start list, Norm had #11 and I don't think it's Nelson in those colors. #16 is the Dan Gurney Mercury. Conclusion: It is a 1967 Riverside 500 trainer

  I made mandolins in the same building in Nashville that Dobros were made. A guy named Ed made the necks, he was a good luthier. I got an M-1 (Epiphone) Dobro today, made in China today, it's pretty good.

  You need an acoustic amp. You can't use an acoustic on an electric guitar amp.

  Hi! I’m a new owner of a Magnavox ASTRO-SONIC (model ST686), it looks exactly like yours! So happy I found your vids because I’m very nervous I’ll do something wrong! If this is your same model number and you do not have the original owners manual or the red “IMPORTANT” operational instruction paper I would be happy to send you pics of mine for your own reference and care. (They are very specific about things that aren’t explained what or where they are so it’s a bit over my head at the moment. Haha!) I also have the original warranty certificate and a Magnavox catalogue from the purchase date (02/20/1968) that details the ASTRO-SONIC st686 as well as all other items they were promoting at the time. I’d be happy to share if interested. Thanks again for the advice! -Kelli

  Floyd Rose (Special) is JUNK. MADE IN CHINA. I only buy Floyd Rose Original made in Germany by Schaller! Two completely different products. Learned my lesson a long time ago.

  I've spent my whole life working on Floyd Rose equipped guitars. That Peavey bridge is interesting. It has Ibanez Edge style saddles. The FR Special is similar to the edge in some ways, so I can understand why they did that... My guitar tool company was started because I had an idea to make setting up FR equipped guitars easier. Almost 10 years later and we still sell tons of FR tools.

  it's a handsome looking beat up road worn guitar . my Floyd Rose only has 3 springs why 5 ? not sure... the bridges needs to be able to float like that.. over all has a good set up

  Yeah, Floyd Rose bridges are a PITA. I sold every guitar I had with them. Not worth the trouble...unless you're playing in a Slayer cover band. ;)

  true Floyd Rose is not as easy to set up as fixed bridge or hard tail ..Some really cool guitars came out after the NAMM show
