Shit this is gona take forever

I once did this with a 13 second clip of a video. It took me two hours straight to make it perfect. You can do it sloppily like the video, or you can take your time to make it look really clean. It's sooo time consuming but so worth it sometimes.

@@BoneziusPilatuz There may be some programs that can help with that though - Runwayml for example which is an online video editor that can create green screened scenes, as many people have recently been recommending it for easier and quicker masking/rotosciping. It uses an AI which follows the subject, though some frames still need some correcting due to the green disappearing or overextending; but overall it can be a real time saver as it saves a lot of the detailed labor.

You dont have to reset the mask or duplicate... just advance a frame, set a keyframe and adjust the mask by adding/substracting/moving the nodes.

Ok, I have found a way to mask out the window. 1) Mask the window. 2)go to the Media generator tab>solid colors. 3)drag and drop the green background. 4)copy the masked window keyframe into the green color Mask keyframe (make sure ur mask check box is ticked). 5)delete the mask from the car and place green solid color there. Voila! it's done.

So to copy the mask key frame go to the mask track. Check out 1:59 to see the mask track. Copy the key frame (little diamond) to the new green solid color tile.

I made a green screen clip, but it would display a green box in the middle once i insert it into another video. Any solutions?

I assume that frame tracking is meant for tracking an object in the video. It’s a very useful tool to help track and attach text to an object, but it won’t work to help make a green screen for that object. As I see it masking one of the choices you can choose from.

You could of just used the original background on the clip you green screened.
